Was great at until it got wet. Water sits in it and when I came for a shower the next time / after someone else had used it, I was greeted by a puddle of cold water when I stood on it. Apart from that was good.
It is way smaller than I had imagined it to be. I had bought a similar mat from Costco years ago for $10 and it was 1.5x bigger than this mat. It should be much bigger for the price. When used in the bathroom outside the shower, the small area means a lot of water still goes outside the mat
Queso tappetino ha un problema... ci vuole una vita perché si asciughi e ciò lo rende inutilizzabile a parer mio, perché non è bello uscire dalla doccia e trovare il tappetino ancora bagnati dal giorno prima...
As I have a latex allergy, finding suitable safe bathmats can be tricky. The idea of a memory foam one intrigued me as I couldn’t entirely see how useful it would be, but I was prepared to give it a go on the off chance. The mat itself is a neutral beige colour with a very soft and stroke-able fabric top. Despite the description, there is no hanging loop, which means you have to either balance the mat carefully on the side of the bath or prop it up against it to dry. I also cannot see how folding this would make it any easier to store – it certainly wouldn’t make it more compact. While the mat is quite fun to stand on when it’s dry, there’s a deeply unpleasant soggy sensation as soon as you get water on it. The fabric doesn’t seem to wick the moisture away, instead holding it on the surface so that you get the distinct impression that you’re standing in a marsh. Towelling bathmats do feel damp after use, but this one is just cold and wet. Thankfully, the one thing this mat is good at is drying: it seems to do so pretty quickly, meaning you don't have a soaking sponge hanging around for too long after use. We’re still using it as the cushion effect is nice when you get out of the bath or shower, but we’ve covered it with our towelling bathmat so we’re not ankle deep in cold water. Not impressed.
This mat looks and feels great, but I am disappointed in its durability. After one wash, which complied with all instructions on the product label, I noticed that the stitching and anti-slip material on the bottom of the mat started to come undone and fray. I can understand wear and tear after extensive use over time, but given that I've only washed it once, I would have expected this item to have held up better.
Feels very nice under my feet. However, because of the nap of the fabric, it generally looks like someone spilled liquid on part of it (or the cats did something bad). If this was a bath mat that went over the side of the tub when not in use, it would be fine behind the shower curtain. The other thing I don't like is that when yoiu step off of it, there's a rustling plastic sound. This may be a waterproofing thing on the bottom, but it takes some getting used to.
I did like it at first, but after several weeks of use it changed color around the edges and had to toss it. I ended up purchasing a machine washable mat from Target. No memory foam there, but it's washable and as there is no memory foam, I expect the color will not change. No more memory foam bath mats for me!
