Sorry,Amazon, your product description needs some amendment. This mat is certainly not easy to fold and it won't drape either so if you don't want to keep it on the floor all the time where do you put it?? It remains horizontal when you hope to put it on the side of the bath. Contrary to the product description there is also no hanging loop. It is a nice thick mat, measuring 46x71 cms and apparently the foam core can soak up 4 times its weight in water, but I never slosh that amount of water around. It dries VERY quickly but we do have underfloor heating. Can't say how long it would take on a different floor. Why memory foam I wonder? Is it more absorbent than normal foam? It's not as if you want to put your feet in the same place each time! It's a rather boring mat, being a Basic one. No frills of any kind, just a bland beige surface which IS lovely and soft. Too early to tell how this will wash and how long it will last, but I can say the mat is on a par with one I bought from a classy department store for £30, so it is probably a good buy.
3.0 out of 5 starsGreat when dry, but stays soggy a long time

On the plus side this memory foam bathmat feels delightfully soft and comfortable when stepping out of the bath or shower. It is a good size, and the back is non-slip, so there should be no risk of it sliding across the floor (with you on it).
Unfortunately there are some minus points, though. Most importantly, it acts like a sponge, soaking up water and then taking a long time to dry out again. The experience of stepping onto a cold, damp mat soggy with someone else's bathwater is not a pleasant one. I suspect it's not very hygienic either.
Also, the mat is quite thick and doesn't fold over well. We were reduced to propping it on the edge of the bath on its side. Thankfully we have a fairly large bathroom, but anyone with a small bathroom may struggle to find a place for it.
For these reasons I can't really recommend this bathmat, though as I've said above it does have some redeeming features, especially when dry. Three stars from me.
