I am XL and got a XXL hoping for something fitted to wear under things for just a little smoothing (not spanx crazy). The tank is of very good quality with a nice silky, not cottony feel. It is not firm enough to compress anything. Instead it clings snuggly, accenting every little thing without coming close to smoothing things out. The material has so much give i do not believe a different size would improve my opinion. If i did not have wiggley parts, or i was wanting to advertise said parts, i might like this better.
While they are decent tank tops they are definitely not compression tank tops... They "compress" about as much as a cotton wife beater... I ordered extra small based on another reviewer saying to go down a size... Even if I went down 3 sizes (which couldn't be done xs is the smallest option) they still wouldn't work as a compression top... They are pretty thin... They aren't a total loss though... The material didn't feel too bad. I chose the black, white, and grey option so I do have a variety to match with other clothing. The fit isn't horrible when you first put them on... However they don't fit the same after hours of wearing them... I couldn't imagine using them at the gym... If you sweat they're really gonna stretch out... And if you are looking to contain any kind of jiggle... Forget it... I gave two stars because they aren't the worst thing I've ever purchased... I like the T shaped back... It makes your back/shoulders look pretty badass... But the price wasn't that great for regular tank tops... For compression tank tops it would've been a phenomenal price... But as I've already said they're definitely not compression tank tops...
They're great for just a tank top. But they're supposed to be compression and sure I guess they would be if they weren't cut so large for a size small. I dont even think an xs(if they made it) would be compression for me. Waist 24-26, midsection 28-30 depending, hips 34-36. The only way these were somewhat snug for me was if I wore a layer underneath. Very volumous. I tried it on after the eating holiday and still not fitting (add an extra inch or 2 to the highest number in the range I fluctuate in) these are not size small or cut for compression. I should have known by the price tag.
They are super thin. Scratchy material. I bought them to wear under my clothing for when on my motorcycle. The purpose was moisture wicking. I’m 5’4”, 160 # I’m a muscle build and these fit ok except they are so darn short, you can’t tuck them even into high wasted jeans and sit down without them untucking. They were PERFECT until I washed them as per directions on clothing label.
These tanks are awful. They fit fine when you get them. The neckline is a bit constricting but it was ok. However, after I washed and dried them they shrunk. Now they are tight and short! I bought to wear under my nursing scrubs and they are awful. They are tight in the neckline and short so they ride up. They look and feel like cheap quality. I already washed them so I’m keeping them but I won’t buy them again and I hope you think twice too. If you are looking for high quality, go elsewhere.
Tops are ok. Not compression by any means and a bit short-torso’d for tall girls. Personally, I think they are overpriced - Target and Walmart have similar items at a more reasonable price. However, given that’s it is late October, finding tanks in store can be tough. Thus, I ordered these. I wanted the red specifically for a Lindsay Funke Halloween costume. As I am ironing on “Slut” (for the costume), I realize there are deodorant stains all over the armpits. Gross. Obviously, with “Slut” now being on the shirt, I cannot return. My fault for not eyeing more carefully but, seriously, really nasty to be sold in this condition.
