To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
When I read that this statue was made of “bonded resin with crushed stone”, I had hoped that it would have a more stone-like feel and look, but it seems just like resin to me. That being said, I still give it 5 stars because the painting is so incredibly well done, both front and back. It’s very detailed and you can tell that a lot of time and attention went into it, something that’s unusual for a resin statue at this price point. She also has a nice countenance; I’ve seen many a Lakshmi statue where she has a very odd-looking face, a deal breaker for me. A beautiful statue at a good price, a nice addition to any altar. Recommend.
I have an inspirational wall next to my computer of Nativity statutes, Archangels, angels, Icons, Buddhas, Mandalas, a Tiffany-style fairy lamp, a life-sized, lighted angel and now Lakshmi and Ganpati Ganesha. Inspired by the hymns of Sudha with the purity of her voice and the meanings of the lyrics, I am delighted to add the Hindu Goddess and God of Good Fortune and Prosperity. Fingers crossed.
I rarely write reviews. But I think this one deserves it for what it means to me at least. When I ordered this I was extremely skeptical of it since I hadn't seen it in person. My experience with ordering anything Indian such as this has always be rough in the past, either it was broken or not as described. But this exceeded my expectations. Not only it did it came as perfectly as described but also the effort put into packing it was much appreciated. I absolutely loved the fact it was double boxed as well as packed in a way where there was absolutely 0 chance of breaking. THANK YOU!!!
