To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Ok. I got this for our pontoon to hold keys and phone. The loops on bag are too thick for the suction cup ! I’m going to go buy the auction cups that have the hook on them to see how they do ! The suction cups that come with them suck !
These were very much smaller than I anticipated and not as wide, either. They would not hold much and I would not put anything tall in them (like a bottle of liquid bath soap). If they had cost more, I would have returned them but I didn’t want to bother. I have 3 stars because maybe I didn’t really pay attention to the dimensions.
This particular review is for the 2 small mesh pouches (small set), which we are using to help organize and dry bath toys for our kids. They are much smaller than I had hoped, so this was what we ended up using them for, when I had hoped they could hold some hair products in the shower for our older daughter.
There are a couple of design issues with these pouches. They are surprisingly deep, which you might be able to tell in the picture (meaning they expand out quite a bit), but the pouch itself has a thick loop hanger that doesn't quite fit well on the suction cup part. Ours have fallen off several times! Also the suction cups themselves are not very good. They certainly couldn't hold much weight at all.
For what we have decided to use them for, they are ok.
I do like the thick mesh material and believe it drains well and will likely be mildew resistant...but time will tell and so will I!
I chose this three-pocket shower caddy with suction cups because I spend several nights away from home every month housesitting. I thought it would be nice to hang it in the shower so I wouldn't have to mingle my shampoo and soap with the homeowner's.
Alas, these pockets aren't the right size for that unless I want to carry travel-sized bottles, which I don't. However, this does serve well to hold my other toiletries - toothbrush, paste, makeup, things like that. For someone traveling farther than I do - someone who uses travel sized products - it should work just fine.
The plastic-y mesh is easy to wash - I know that because I hated the feel of it. It has a tackiness to it that seems to cling to my hands. Since washing it once, it doesn't seem to stay on my hands as much, but it's still an odd sensation I'm fond of. Not my favorite item.
Regarding the flat, suction cup organizer: I really want to like this little organizer, because it is very low profile and holds things well like sponges and small toiletry bottles and razors that don't always have a convenient home in the shower. However, one of the two suction cups that came with this set absolutely refuses to stick. One is doing fine, so it' possible I got a dud, but with only a sponge, two half empty hotel toiletries and a razor only, one won't stick, on tile on glass.
Regarding the 6 bottle hook organizer: This is a nice product and hangs either on a shower wall or the showerhead pipe. However, the design in a little funky and the top corners curl in on themselves when products add weight. It's still functional, but it's really unattractive. The hook on the bottom is a little odd, but useful for bath scrubbers.
This listing is for different items / sets. The one that I am reviewing is the “Medium Set” which has three bags. Small: 6x3x6", Medium: 9x4x7.5", Large: 12x3x4.75"
The bags come with suction cups. It all depends upon your walls, and what you’re putting into the bags, whether or not they are going to work for your walls. Obviously anything heavy will not work. The bags open-up at the bottom, so that they are square on the bottom. But there is nothing to keep them that way. If that’s something you desire, then you’ll have to create your own “plate” to put in the bottom.
Overall they are fine. They are Made in China, and at the current price of three bags for twenty bucks, they are crazy expensive. They couldn’t have cost more than a few cents to make in China, so a “reasonable” price for them would be between three and five bucks.
