To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I’m so happy with this product that I’ll definitely be buying more. The service was excellent and delivery fast. I’m a quilter and also a dressmaker so I’ve a lot of fabric. I’ve tried many different ways of storing fabric, in piles on shelves, in drawers, in plastic tubs and baskets but it never stays tidy. I didn’t know what to expect from these comic backing boards but they are fantastic. Each board easily hold a metre or two of fabric. The boards are acid free which is essential to prevent damage to the fabric and they’re strong enough to hold the fabric and stand up on a shelf. I fold each metre in half selvedge to selvedge then in half again and wrap around each board and secure it with a plastic alligator clip, (you know those clips on men’s shirts. You can buy the clips here on amazon.) if you want to use pins make sure they’re stainless steel so they don’t rust and stain the fabric. To wrap fat quarters or smaller pieces of fabric I cut the board in half, wrap and clip or pin then store in baskets. There are many helpful videos on YouTube on how to store fabric on comic backing boards. Give it a go you will not be disappointed and your sewing room will not just look amazing, neat and tidy but you'll save time and be more productive.
I bought these to use for storing my fabric stash neatly and they work a treat. Sturdy enough to wrap my fabric and keep it in great condition. Can’t say how well they would work with comics though..sorry.
First of all I need to make clear I didn’t read the measurements for this, thinking all boards for comics were made equal. They aren’t . These boards don’t fit any brand of comic book bags I own . The boards are very...er boards and are nice shade of white. They are form so built to last..but they are too big.
