I had purchased a few of these candles for Christmas. We all know that Glade is a respected product name delivering good quality products over the years. However these candles are a major disappointment! For starters the scent is great, while they are still in the package, however once they are lit, you are wondering "what happened" and for the burn time, again very disappointed, but if they don't provide the level of affected and advertised fragrance, then they are nothing more than a simple candle. Sorry just did not find any value in this product.
Glass has the decorative bumps inside and wax has separated out into two layers; a more translucent layer on top (about 1/2") and the bottom is an opaque white. Top layer has no fragrance whatsoever. Product is 5 months past the expiration date etched into the glass.

Glade candles were at one point a great value. I keep coming back to them hoping they'll be better, and they disappoint me everytime. Something has changed, fragrance wise with Glade candles. If they're using fragrance oil, the brand or quality is not what it once was. While burning the candles have a slight scent, but its after extinguished the scent changes. The smell that lingers in the air after you extinguish the candle is almost rancid. The floral scent somehow turns "off". I burned this candle for a few hours and extinguished, a few hours later, there was a funky smell and I couldn't place it. After the same pattern for several nights, I changed to a different brand of candle. No funky smell. However, the smell permeated the soft surfaces in my living room. I'm vacuumed and then sprayed febreeze, funky smell is gone. Like I said, I enjoyed Glade candles for many years when I lived in an apartment and couldn't afford expensive candles. The value isn't what it once was.
Was really disappointed. I had used Glade candles a few years back and was impressed by how strong the scent was. That being said, I am not impressed now. This candle did smell really strong when I opened it and I was looking forward to lighting it but there was not much of a scent after being lit.. now yes, after it burned a few hours, you could smell it, but only in a very small space and the candle is almost gone by then. Maybe if I had 3 lit sitting together in a small room, it might smell as a candle should. Yes, it's a low price.. but my opinion, not even worth the low price it is.
I was looking forward to trying the candle version of Red Honeysuckle Nectar . I have been using the spray for quite a while and buy the spray as my "go to" air freshener. My son has allergies and this scent does not trigger sneezing and eye watering episodes. It's a winner in our household. I'll try to locate a candle in a local store to ensure it's in good shape. My rating score is based on it arriving broken. It did smell good in the package as I was inspecting it.
I purchased 2 of these candles, 1 was good & the other one the glass was broken. I tried to remove the candle to at least save that, but after cutting my finger 2 times I said the heck with it. These candles were in a box with a variety of other candles. There was no damage to the box, and the damaged candle had bubble wrap around it. After seeing how they were packed, it looks like it must have been dropped and broken before it was placed in the box. It was not worth the hassle of trying to send it back, so I guess it's just my loss.
