I just renovated a bedroom for my daughter. She can't sleep in that room yet because of the smell from this film. After several weeks I noticed the room still smells and we found the source to be this window film. It has been off-gassing for several weeks now with no end in sight. I am planning to remove it and install a window film with a plain design from our home hardware store. I have this other form of window film in my room and it doesn't smell at all. Every morning we go in there, the smell is very obvious, and only temporarily dissipates after opening a window. It soon returns by morning.
