The material is definitely good quality and somewhat stretchy. It’s a thicker top, even the white colour isn’t transparent (as most white tops tend to be), but still breathable. For me though, the cut/style of the neckline just didn’t work for me. I also bought a large, but it ended up being very loose in the back and shoulders, just making it look awkward.
I machine washed in cold water and low tumble dry and it shrank. I don't like the way the sleeves fit. It's not very flattering. It is good as an undergarment, but not as outerwear. More suited to wearing in the gym.
This shirt looks nice enough, a basic 3/4 sleeve top. It fits pretty much true to size. The only problem i had with it is it's definitely not a "tee" or tee material. It's pretty thick material, almost like scuba material surprisingly. I didn't expect it to be this thick. I wanted a shirt to wear in summer because i can be self conscious of my upper arms sometimes, but this top would be too hot. I'll keep it and probably wear it in the fall/winter.
I'm reading all the reviews about the neckline being too wide, boatneck, sloppy, etc., and wondering what happened to MY shirt? The neckline on mine is SMALLER than pictured, like the crewneck on a mens t-shirt. It doesn't show my collar bone(s?), and makes the shirt pretty non-descript. I'm 160 lbs/5'6' and bought an XXL, have a longish, slenderish neck, and average shoulder width. The rest of the shirt was fine, and the neck was sewn well, but is cut differently than photo. This was true in both the black and the turquoise that I bought.
I got this shirt in white and am very disappointed. It looks good when you first put it on, but the fabric is rather stiff and stretches out of shape. The logo is also darkly printed on the inside back collar, and is clearly very visible through the shirt. Within an hour of wearing it for the first time I rubbed a damp napkin very lightly across it to remove a crumb and it pilled like a cotton ball being torn apart. I tried rubbing a dry finger up and down on a small spot and more pilling instantly appeared.
So if you don't play on touching this shirt, you'll be fine.
