To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I've tried a variety of compression tights and nothing beats 2XU. I bought this same one before and wanted to buy another one because it's very good. However, 2XU is no longer selling in the shops in Singapore. I chanced upon it on amazon and ordered it. I was surprised that the reviews were so bad. Not sure why. I bought "S" size and it fit me very well.
I didn't understand these at all. I generally wear an xs and ordered a small and I never even got to put these all the way on. The only compression I felt was in the super tight long waistband that I didn't even bother to struggle to put all the way on as I already wasn't feeling any compression in the legs which was my point of purchasing these as I was hoping to support my leg muscles while running or weight lifting. These were an instant "must return" for me. I'm just sticking with a well-known name brand of athletic apparel that I know makes really tight tights for running because I tried on at a major dept store once and was quite surprised. I just wanted to know what all the hype was on one of these compression brands before I went with those and I don't know since they didn't seem to have compression in the legs.
The compression in the legs is great, these are the most compressive bottoms I've found. But the waistband is made of a completely different material that has almost no give. I wore these for a few hours after a tough workout and found my quads and glutes felt fresher than they would normally feel without the support. My stomach, however, felt awful. Fix the waistband please and these would be the best compression pants on the market!!
Love 2xu mcs and have a few items. This one was ridiculous in fit. The legs fit perfect however there was literally no way to get the waist on over hips... It was like the top of the garment and bottom were made for two different people.
