I ordered a size 10. I really love these, slim straight leg pants with enough rise to hide a bit of my remaining baby pooch. Very professional looking with a bit of a leggings feel (but not too much and they really look like actual pants). I usually have an issie finding pants that fit my booty as well as my waist without gapping, or with an elastic waist band, rolling. No problems with either of those issues. I'd definitely recommend these.
I debated between these and the Lark & Ro skinny pants, and since I was shopping for work pants, decided to start with these as they are a little "safer" for work than skinnies. I am 5' 4" 165 lbs and between a 10 and a 12. I got these in a 12. They are not exactly the most stylish, but they are pretty flattering and very comfortable. Run a little roomy and do tend to need to be pulled up throughout the day. If I could reorder, I'd get them in a 10. Overall a solid work pant I never mind wearing.
These would have been perfect if they came with a tighter skinny leg opening. The legs and thighs are very tight down through the calves and then the leg opening is looser. This looks sloppy. Love that they have LONG. This brand needs to make these is this same material ( not pointe or legging) In true skinny pants with tapered ankle area. These is a pant that Alfani fit Macy's makes that sells out constantly because they are perfect. Tummy control skinny. They ALSO come in LONG. It looks like this brand was trying to copy them right down to the mesh tummy control flap inside.. but again the fit is off. Uggh has high hopes but no this is a fail.
UPDATE: I am knocking off one star, because after hand washing these pants (hung to dry), they are so very wrinkled. I can't wear them without ironing them. I think I may not purchase another pair now. If I needed them as part of a uniform, I would. But I wanted to use them for the office.
Original review: These pants are the perfect 'straight leg' pant- not too slim on the leg. They are very comfortable, too. They have a nice stretch to them, without being too stretchy. The waistband isn't tight or uncomfortable in any way.
I would call these 'business casual' pants- because the material is nice, but it isn't dressy looking. It almost looks like a pair of uniform pants. The material is matte, not shiny at all.
I hope Amazon makes these in more colors, like: Navy Blue, Dark Grey, Plaid, etc.
FYI- I would suggest hand washing & line drying- to increase the life of the pants. Machine washing would be too rough.
These pull-on slim pants are perfect. Buy the size that reflects your waist. They are sized well. Since the waist is not elasticized there's no puckering. These slacks do NOT look like "old lady" pants! They don't cut in at the waist. The legs are slim trim. I am thrilled to give them five stars. If there were more stars I'd give them more. BTW I'm a seamstress with many gowns behind me so I know a good fit!
If I could give this 0 stars I would. I normally wear a size 10 pants but ordered a 12 to make sure the fabric wouldn’t be too tight to wear in the office. I was so excited to try the pants on as soon as the package arrived. I wasn’t blown away by how the fabric felt but for $40 I figured they were worth it. I tried to pull them on but could barely get the pants above my knees! I couldn’t believe it! There was 0 stretch or give in the waist. I returned these immediately.
I was excited to see Amazon has pants that are designed to cover the ankles. These did that. But as other reviewers stated, the waist was very tight. I have a pair of Amazon brand jeggings that fit perfectly. I was hoping these would fit the same but they didn't. I'm a small woman and could barely get the pants over my hips because the waist was so tight. Once they were on, the waist was still pretty snug.
The material was weird, too. It felt like something a tent would be made out of. There was very little stretch to them, even thought stretch is in the name of the product. The pants had zero style, were uncomfortable and stiff.
