Other ladies did say the fabric was a bit sheer but I thought they were worth a try at that price. They are quite light. Don't think I'll wear them for anything other than lounge or pyjamas. No side seam makes for a sort of boot cut and no pockets. Cut off at the knee they'll make good summer pyjama pants. Large fits me well, when they stretch a bit they won't be baggy. There's room in the length for a taller person.
The waist is three or four layers folded rather than the stretch rib like yoga pants that most designs are starting to use now. The tie is a plus. I'm giving them four stars because of that, the recycled packing and fast service.
With polyester instead of hemp in the blend they'll pill like crazy and have to be constantly washed.
Packaging was recycled but the plastic wasn't bio-plastic. Shipping was very quick, that is the best part of this transaction. I won't be buying this style again.
I get so frustrated reading dishonest reviews. Notice how most products have a 4 or 4 1/2? This product is no different. The quality is crap, fell apart after 2 washings and the material is so thin there were holes appearing after the first wash. Yep, I'm angry. My advice is DO NOT BUY, YOU'RE JUST THROWING AWAY YOUR MONEY. There, now this is an honest review.
I find them a little too flared at the ankles and high in the waist. A little old-fashioned. But I'm glad for the 100% cotton. They did shrink a little after washing, which I am glad for, because they were about an inch too long in the leg. I am regular, medium build, 5' 7'' (168 cm).
These pants are ridiculous, they fit rather large boxy, and the strangest fabric. I thought if I removed the tags and washed them, they’re shrink up a bit and feel softer. No such luck. Kept them, because I removed the tags, but I use them as Pajama pants instead.
I gave these a 3 star simply because they are overpriced for what they are. They were what I was looking for in terms of light weight, cotton, elastic and drawstring waist, overall a good lounge pant that was not a thick, fleece jogging pant. I felt I overpaid by about 5-10 dollars BUT I couldn't find anything else out there. These pants should be no more than 25$.
I usually buy a large in any kind of leisure pants (5' 5" 137lbs)-i usually like them baggy a bit...but, I bought a medium in these and they were comfortabley loose(not baggy just comfortable). t-shirt material(no fleece on inside). Basic comfort leisure pant, no shape, could even be men or women style.
Get what you pay for- sturdy but very large fitting. Buy a size down. The weave is not very dense but not see through in any way. Length is fine but probably because they for so loose the sit very low. Did shrink slightly on first wash and dry. They're a good deal for the price but they're not top end.
I was under the impression that 'jersey' meant stretchy. These are a woven cotton material and do not stretch at all. Some reviews sound like they are talking about a completely different pant. They are not thin or see-through. Mine are a very solid, dense fabric, more like a flannel sleep pant, and I wish they were actually a little thinner. OK to wear around the house, and too much of a hassle to return. And mine did shrink after the first washing which was fine, since they were a little big.
