Nice skipully, looks very good and promising warm. Will test it out next week on the slopes to see if it matches the expectations though. Size (I took M) is little taller then average at first fit ... I think I could even fit S. Therefor 4 out of 5 stars.
4.0 out of 5 starsHow to Get the Most Out of a Well-Designed Jacket
Reviewed in the United States on 12 October 2018
This Stryke jacket is extremely warm, ideal for a chilly fall day and usable well into the winter cold. It's also quite comfortable, made of soft material that feels almost like you're wearing a blanket in terms of warmth retention and a certain coziness it affords. It's also an attractive garment with an eye-catching design and attractive textured panels that make up the main part of its construction. The contrasting color on the sides and inner part of the selves add an additional visual appeal to this garment. The manufacturing specs also seem good with a strong zipper, well-made seams and good stitching along the panels of which it is constructed. All of this suggests a long life to this jacket. There is on proviso that I would mention in this assessment. This Spyder jacket runs a bit larger than I expected. I ordered it in XL, which is almost always my ideal size for jackets in particular. While this was not too large for me per se, and certainly would be the preferred fit for many other men my size, I expected and wanted a more tapered and fitted look from a garment of this type. which sports long lines accentuated by its contrasting panels, the long half-zipper in the front, and the high turtle neck collar. For those with a more athletic physique of the sort this jacket is often marketed too, a more fitted sizing in my judgment is more flattering to the wearer and shows off the best aspects of the garment's design. If I were to order another one I'd consider going down a size to get that look. This consideration, however, is really a matter of personal taste and style as well as how the wearer's individual physical attributes and what puts these in their best light. Beyond that there there are virtually no negatives regarding this well-made, functional and attractive piece of clothing.
