I bought these for my girlfriend. She had a DVT and is still in recovery and these tights/leggings do the same job as the class 2 recovery stockings/tights, awesome support, no heavy legs feeling, perfect for sports and keeping leg compression on. I would recommend them for anyone seeking the best support leggings ever made. The build quality is superb and the benefits are equally rated.
I use these compression leggings when my legs are swollen and also if my leg muscles are sore from anxiety-related muscle tension.
When my pain in my leg muscles is at a seven or an eight, these leggings have helped. I also like the way it feels against my abdomen, the compression can be comforting.
I think the graduated compression feature is just okay. If you can afford these, they are nice, and they probably will help. If you are looking to achieve leg compression in an everyday context for way less money, try stretchy skinny jeans. I end up using those more often because even though the material is thinner these days for most jeans, stretch denim will still usually be thicker than even a really nice compression legging.
They do not work with regular fashion the same way yoga pants do, because there is a shine to this fabric. If you are wearing them for everyday purposes or pain management, you might want to make sure the rest of your outfit is casual enough to work with an athletic looking legging.
The only other thing to note is that sometimes, when I remove these leggings, I need to have an electronic massager already set up and ready to use. Sometimes there is soreness after compression, or it just becomes more noticeable after the compression has been removed.
It is so nice to finally have a pair of true compression pants, I’ve got a couple of pair from other brands and I found that they never really compressed anything. The high rise on me almost comes up to the base of my bra band so for people who are short waisted, these will come up very high on you. I found that The fabric is definitely more lightweight than I’m used to but not so thin that it won’t pass the squat test. The black on black is really sleek and I love it much more than a different contrasting color. But I don’t like the material the black strip is made of, its like a thin rubber that doesn’t feel comfortable when touched or rubbed up against.
Normally I wear a size small in workout leggings but went up a size here due to the compression and I am glad I did. I think a small would have been too tight for comfort, a medium provided more than enough compression for me to get through my workout and feel good. Length wise, its perfect for me. I am 5’4” with really small ankles so most leggings are too long, they bunch up and are not snug against my leg. I end up having the roll the bottom of the legging up which can be annoying. But these stop right at my ankle and are form-fitting (ie tight) which I love.
