Big butts beware!! I ordered my usual size in XL and had to return them, because of my ass. I have a smaller waist but wide hips, and these pants were not forgiving of that unfortunately. Maybe if I tried sizing up, but I didn't bother. The pants themselves are cute tho, would have kept them if they fit properly!
I have many of these RBX capris, in several colors. Love them for daily wear. Lightweight enough to wear even in very hot and humid temps. Very comfortable. I've had several pair for a couple of years and they wash and dry and maintain their shape. In fact, I prefer RBX over higher priced similar items that are sold in other stores. However, this particular pair (khaki, size L) didn't work at all. Much too large and the quality of material wasn't the same as other colors I have. Probably a fluke but I returned them. Really wanted a khaki pair. I have several black, gray, blue and all are consistent in size and quality. I'm 5'5, 160 lbs, 32" waist and size L is always best. I gained weight over the last year - last year I bought medium. I can still wear those but they're tight and not flattering anymore. Bottom line, I recommend the brand.
I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the Northface Aphrodite capris and tried the RBX Active Women's Fashion Lightweight Woven Drawstring Cargo Capri Pant with Pockets.
Pros: The fabric is thin and silky. It feels nice and is cool. The waistband is wide and comfortable. The drawstring stays tied nicely. The length was perfect for me. I wear a 37" inseam and the capris came to just below my knees. The elastic in the legs is ok - I always add a cord stop for flexible tightness.
Cons: The pockets are useless. They are small and cut wide so anything you put in them will fall out. The only thing that the pockets will hold is a tissue. They run a big small as compared to an XL from Northface. They are more like a L.
Overall, they are good for running around the house and maybe a quick trip to the store. They would be good for walking and running but don't put anything in the pockets that you don't want to lose.
I haven't worn or washed these capris yet, but I did wear them long enough to walk around and test the comfort and stretch. The fabric is very lightweight. I bought size L (I'm 5ft 5in and 160 lbs) and they are not tight. I chose taupe. I ordered another pair in charcoal. There are not a lot of colors to choose from in size L, but the price is dependent on the color. Silly, and doesn't make sense. If I have a different opinion after wearing them for a day or washing them, I will edit this review.
5 Jul 2021 - As of my original review, I still have not worn these capris. But I have washed and dried them twice trying to get the "fold" wrinkles out from being folded in the package. No luck. Not sure if I'm going to return them or not because I will be needing something soon. Giving them a 3-star now and taking away the 5-star.
I didn't realize the rise would be so high above the belly button. Normally I would return them but with Covid, I can't go into stores and try on clothes since the fitting rooms are closed. So I am just rolling the waist down when I wear it and wear a shirt tucked out like I normally do. They are comfortable and I do love the material and the large pockets, and I would rather have them loose than too tight. Ahh, life during a pandemic...
I am 5'1" and weigh 98 pounds. I looked at the chart, and the small was size 4 to 6. I am a 0 or 2 so I ordered an XS because description clearly states they are cut large, and roomy. They are not. The waist comes up high, not below the belly button, as shown on the model. The distance between crotch and waist is short on me. Probably should have ordered a small. Fabric is as expected, wicking, pockets, not really all that deep. I really wished these fit, but they are going back.
I originally purchased these pants for a trip to Vegas hoping they would work for walking around in the summer dessert heat. Unfortunately they're a bit misleading because they are a very thin material which was promising. However, they do not breath and therefore get warm very quickly. They're not at all something that could be worn in Las Vegas in the summer. It feels like wearing thin plastic almost (smoother than plastic but you get the idea).
I had high hopes for these lightweight capris. I'm 5'6" 150lbs. I was looking for a comfort waist capri because things giggle more than they used to and I want to be comfy. I ordered a medium which fit great at the waist and good length. The problem is the fabric is so thin that it does not do you any favors with flaws...like hip dimples (aka cellulite). Probably would have kept them 10-15 years ago!
