Solid and relatively easy to put together

This Artiss pull out table is a solid addition to any room. I use it primarily to hold my wireless keyboard and mouse and whilst it''d be nice it it was wider and with height adjustment, it is relatively easy to put together, with solid components.

The size is perfect for the small area that I had allocated for my computer in a small single bedroom and it was easy to assemble. The keyboard tray doesn't slide in and out very well though. But the huge concern is that the metal supports for the keyboard tray do not have anything to cover the front metal ends of this support - these are extremely sharp and I have already cut my fingers and torn my clothes on the front edges. I have now had to resort to covering both ends with Bluetak to prevent any further damage - I don't know how long that will last though. This is why I have sadly only given the desk an overall rating of three stars. If there was a protector for this area then I would have given the desk a four star rating.

Assembly is Difficult

Whatever you do, fit the bottom plate D first. It doesn’t have pre drilled holes, so you have to drill them yourself. The wood is soft, so as the big screws go in, they always go out of alignment. The top plate, B, has pre drilled holes for the screws, but they just fall in. You will have to glue these in place. The slides come pre assembled, not like the instructions, and you have to pull them to bits and fit the arms on the frame, and fit the metal slides, (with glued screws) into the slides. It might not be easy, as this requires perfect assembly for perfect alignment, and that is not going to happen. The end product fits in the small space I have, and even though I now have to put a bit of wood under one of the castors to keep it even, it does the job. I only paid a few bucks, so I can’t complain.

I had bought one of these 5 years earlier at a shop, and decided i need to get new one though old one was still in use. i ordered and assembled easily . but a little disappointed that it is smaller then my old one. i use for laptop while in my lounge chair. it is very sturdy and handy . i recommend this product

Not going to hold a big heavy monitor, and the also not wide enough for the pull-out shelf to hold a full sized keyboard and mouse, but other than these gripes, its a good kiddies PC table.

Negatives = Poorly made, for the price, underside of each piece of timber is just contact, not laminated all round,
Positives = Right height to go with my ergonomic chair, plenty of room for laptop external hard drive mouse, coffee cup and note book and pens and keyboard slides in underneath
