The media could not be loaded.

I didn't like how small they were. Also they are very lightweight. Which is fine and dandy when you're carrying them around of course but when you have a stack of books that are heavy and keep falling down you need something equally heavy if not heavier to hold them. These are not it. They're very decorative and attractive looking. But not much more than that.

One of the bookends arrived with a long fine crack on a polished side. The other had a small chip that transverse the 3 sides. both were well wrapped, but they still arrived damaged. They are not a gift, and I can place them so the flaws are not noticeable. However, I would not recommend them for gifting. For that, I would recommend purchasing them in a store, not online, to guarantee a perfect gift.

Much smaller than expected especially after reading reviews. They are just ok. The pictures do not really match the product. Was really excited to get them but mostly just disappointed when I opened the package. I actually thought the 2 were one at first then realised that was not the case and my heart sank. The outer finish is also not particularly appealing.

These are beautiful, I ordered the brown and the blue ones. Similar to another comment about the packaging, although mine were wrapped in bubble wrap, but it looked like they took it out of the garbage. It was absolutely dirty. Thankfully the bookends itself were wrapped in paper so the bubble wrap wasn’t touching it, but I did have to thoroughly disinfect them. Seller truly needs to work on packaging for shipping.

The bookends are beautiful but smaller than I imagined. My main issue is that mine could have been packaged better. I opened it to find there were chunks that had come off in transit. I didn’t expect for the book ends to be perfectly symmetrical, but I didn’t think that one book end would be noticeably thinner than the other. Also, another item I ordered was in the same package and the weight of the book ends smashed the box of that item, and the item fell out.

I liked the idea of these, and the fact that it said they were naturally grey on the outside but I received a pair that appear to have been powder coated or spray painted teal on the outside so when I opened it teal powder came out all over and I currently have them sitting on paper towels on the desk so they don't stain my white desk. Not sure if I can wash off the residue or what but beware if you purchase these that you open in a safe place. Otherwise the actual inside portion is beautiful.

These are beautiful but the description says they come w non slip rubber stoppers. Mine were not included in the packaging. Very disappointing. I will have to figure something out myself. Otherwise they will destroy the wood surface I bought them for :(
