I ordered the 3-4 lb. stones in natural. I received them very quickly and they were packaged very nicely. They are very large (mine are 6 inches tall)! There are some amazing natural formations on the unpolished sides and the polished sides are just lovely. Mine has browns, black, clear and hints of a grey blue. And there is little geode formation in the center filled with tiny, shiny crystals. I love the way they look on my desk! They are better quality than I had expected with such a great price. I haven't tried them with books yet but they should be able to hold some good weight. They also give you little bumpers to apply to the bottom to help keep them in place. My bumpers were in the bottom of the box so if you order these make sure to check! I am very satisfied with my order. I would highly recommend!

I LOVE THESE BOOKENDS! The price was perfect, they’re a great size and heavy weight. I choose the natural color and love how neutral the ones I received are. I am doing the reverse book look on my decorative shelves and these book ends really bring it together. Would (and probably will) buy again!

I emailed early that I had not received my geodes. They were delivered as stated on Sunday. My seven year old grandson received them and put them aside and forgot to tell anyone. He heard me today saying I have not received the package. He walked into my room and said this box might be yours Grammy... Very happy with them. They are a beautiful gift!

These items look just as beautiful in real life as they do in the picture. I originally thought the one I got did not come with rubber feet and was pleasently surprised to find a small sheet of adhesive feet that I had missed in the packaging. This is working perfectly well to prevent sliding.

Also, I initially had my books arranged from shortest to tallest and was having some issues when taking a particularly thick book out from the middle. Without the feet, the end would slide, with the feet they were still tipping if all the tall books suddenly leaned to one side. My solution was to rearrange the books so not all the taller (and heavier) books are together. This seems to be working better. I'm a little bit wishing I had got the bigger size. I'm using these bookends to hold about a dozen books.

Beautiful and Sturdy. The first pair I ordered was not as pretty as the one in the picture but certainly very giftable. But it was missing the little rubber pads. So I called Amazon saying could you please send the pads. This is going to be a graduation gift and I want it to be perfect. Amazon said why don't we just give you a whole another set? I said that I really didn't need another order just the pads but they wanted to make sure customer service was not lacking and they sent me a whole other order with the pads in it this time! My niece just opened the package and she seemed thrilled! And so are we. Your agate bookends are beautiful and so is your service.

Perfect for keeping my planners beautifully displayed within easy reach.

I ordered the 6-8lb option, and my package's total weight was 8.9, so do note that the weight is aggregate and not per piece. So I'm definitely glad I got the heavier option.

I'm pleased with their appearance, as well. I understand that can vary greatly due to naturally occurring differences between stones, but I'm happy with what I got.

Edit to add, it did not come with the bumpers to go on the bottom. Fortunately I had some already.

These weren't big enough for what I wanted them for (to hold records so that's my fault) but they are so pretty I found a place for them elsewhere.

Other people have mentioned the blue "dye" rubbing off. I got it on my fingers and it washes off easily. I haven't had any issues with it rubbing off on my books or anything like that.

I rated "light weight" with 1 star because they definitely do what they're advertised to do (hold books) and don't like fall over?

The other impressive part of this product review is that the geode looks so much like the photo! My friend is going to enjoy their birthday gift. Side note: Part of the review ask if it's "light weight", of course not. I ordered a heavy weight geode to help hold books up right. The weight feels great. I would recommend.
