I Purchased this item thinking it would be the same Lee Classic Fit as I purchased in a department store, medium size 14. This item was at least 1 and a half sizes too small in size 14. I love the color, Raven, and the stretch but was disappointed that the style name was revised from ‘Classic Fit’ to ‘Instantly Slims’ and a size 14 is smaller than what I own in size 14. The inside panel also looks different, and the Jean material is much lighter in weight. Posting pictures of item purchased at department store and item purchased online. I am hesitant to even purchase a size up, so will need to buy at a department store for proper fit.

What is going on with the sizing?

Bought the black pair in 6 Long. They fit okay. Needed a long because so many pants run short for me. They were VERY long but I was afraid to go shorter because of variance in what is considered "regular" length for different styles.

Saw the palisade pair on sale, got the same size. Perfect on the length but a little tight. I gave it a pass on inconsistency of sizing because the material make-up is different for different colors.

Did an exchange and return for the Palisade in an 8 Long. The 8 long are at LEAST an inch shorter than the 6 Long. I don't get it. Can't even exchange for a different pair because they're now out of stock. This is why it takes me weeks to months to find pants. No consistency in make of the clothing. I get burnt out on looking.

Also, front pockets don't even fit my small pocket wallet. The wallet is only slightly bigger than the 4 cards it holds.

I ordered relaxed fit Short Monroe Lee jeans. These jeans were way too long and at least 1 size too small. This is the 3rd pair of Lee jeans I've ordered that didn't fit. I give up. There is no way to gauge what you'll get in an order. Totally unreliable sizing. No more ordering online. Even in store shopping isn't according to size anymore.

I was hoping these Lee Relaxed Fit straight leg jeans would fit like my old Lee Riders Relaxed Fit Straight Leg jeans but was, again, disappointed. The waist & hips fit OK but through the thigh to the knee was way too tight. I felt like my legs were in a vice & since I have knee problems, these jeans were extremely uncomfortable. I have worn Lee relaxed fit straight leg jeans for many years & these fit nothing like my old ones did. I’m giving up on finding Lee jeans that fit me correctly. I’ve tried a few different Lee relaxed fit styles & none have worked.

Ok, so the jeans are too long and too loose. They also don't look new even though they had tags on them. I'm washing them in the hopes of shrinking them. I'm going to keep them to wear around the house, but this purchase was a disappointment.

Everything I said above still stands. I did wash the jeans. I've been wearing them around the house. They are EXTREMELY comfortable.

I have another pair of Lee jeans in the same size. This pair was longer (too long) and quite baggy - no "instant slimming". The waist was higher in the front than in the back. An awkward fit. The "tummy control" must have been that the back pulled down, causing the higher front to press in. I had one other pair with that weird waistband construction, and assumed it was a fluke. Returned. Won't be buying Lee jeans again.

The pocket broke within 3 days of wearing the pants. If I put my phone or money in my front pocket, it will fall right out the pant-leg. The pants fit great otherwise, but having the pocket be made so poorly was an absolute let down.

I would get another pair if I knew the pockets would be able to at least hold my spare change.

Good Jean, Bad smell

The smell is so bad in these! I washed them multiple times and they still smell of moth balls. My other Lee Jeans don’t so I don’t understand why these do. Other than that, they fit well, a little on the baggy side and the leg is wider than the picture shows.
