This was a return for me because I didn’t like the fit. The material is thin and stretchy (in a good way) and the pants felt quite comfortable. I ordered size 2 and everything fit reasonably well, except the waist where I had a huge waist gap. I am short (5 feet), these pants were full length on me unaltered.
This is a quality pair of spring or summer pants. They come to about an inch above my ankles. They are a touch bigger than expected. They accommodated my bigger rear end and upper thighs, no problem. Flattering except at the bottoms. These are made to flair out above the ankle a bit, but I have skinny lower legs, and these puffed out too much on me.
I really like these pants for the summer. They're thin and super comfortable in the heat. The clasp on the pants does stick out, and while the pants fit great, they kind of accentuate my lower belly. I was going to use a different term but I'm trying to keep my review PG. Anyway, I'm a size 8 and size 8 jeans have been getting snug on me, but these fit just a tiny bit loose, especially as the day wears on. I think Amazon could easily knock off at least $5 on these, I dont know that they're worth almost $30. Also why does Amazon offer two kinds of Navy but not 1 kind of black? I'd love a pair in black.
Three times is a charm. After receiving 2 orders of faulty pants in a row, I almost gave up on the idea of ever getting the right pair. But I’m glad I ordered these the third time because I finally got a well-made pair that wasn’t defective or wasn’t someone’s washed and shrunk return. So if you luck out and get a nice pair, these pants are definitely worth having, especially in summertime. They’re soft and will keep you cool, in all senses! However, be aware that they stretch after a couple of wears, so my personal recommendation would be to size down. One star off for all the the trouble I had to go through.
Really lightweight which is what I was looking for. Arizona summers are brutal. They do run large so I would order a size smaller. They are bigger in the waist so if you have a small waist they might not work. They do have belt loops which is good. I’d give it a try though because they are so comfortable. I ordered the Olive and the Navy. Loved both colors. Not sheer at all.
Was looking for light weight summer capri pants. I like these Daily Ritual Women's Washed Poplin Patch-Pocket Pants because they are light weight but as with most Amazon brand clothing they were too tight. Just didn't look flattering. I could have sized up but didn't - I returned them.
I purchased both this poplin version and the chino in this patch pocket by Daily Ritual. I like the fit better on this version for my pear shaped bottom. I'm size 8 and it follows my curves, doesn't feel too tight. If you are an apple fit you might like the chino version better. I purchased my regular size. Also, the poplin material is definitely thinner material than the chino. For reference I am 5 ft 5 inches, about 140.
I love these pants, they are so comfortable...BUT the sizing is extremely inconsistent. I ordered 3 pair, one fit, one was at least a size small, the other was at least two sizes too small. Will reorder in different sizes to find the ones that will fit, but what a pain in the butt.
UPDATE: I reordered the two pair that didn't fit. I had originally ordered an 8 in three colors. So I ordered 10s in the two that didn't fit. One pair was too big, the other fit but was easily an inch shorter than the size 8s that fit perfectly. Back to the drawing board...like I said I love these pants (when they fit) so I'm determined to find the right fit :)
