WANT TO LEAVE REVIEW TO HELP IN WHAT CAN BE FRUSTRATING SEARCH: Finally! A large couch cover in actual white. For over a decade, all I could ever find in stretchy furniture covers was beige, cream, "ivory", or khaki when actual white-white was what we needed to match our décor. This is our 4th cover for our couch, because over the years - cats. I ordered the x-large size for our couch that measures: 79" across the bottom-front (near floor); 84" across from outside edge of each curved arm rest. Our full-size couch looks a lot like the stock photo above for this cover. I buy stretchy furniture covers because we have cats that claw the heck out of the arm rests. For years, I've sought out & tried out solutions - many. This is the only one that makes the best difference in protecting furniture from clawing, pet hair, pet barf, poopy paws, body sweat, & dye-transfer from denim. I cannot stand furniture getting stinky. If the cats claw enough holes in this cover, as always, I will buy another. How I launder these stretchy covers: cold or warm water, gentle cycle (but on higher washer agitation(swishing) in gentle cycle to loosen pet hair), clear-dye-free laundry soap, sometimes color-safe bleach for brightening, fluff/low/no-heat in dryer or hang to dry on our basement clothesline; it dries fast. I do prefer to put in dryer on lowest possible dryer setting to further help remove the cat hair, which helps. Hot water and hot dryer ruins these stretchy covers fast. This one has been washed (once) alone and has not pilled. Too new yet to say if it will. While THIS particular cover is stretchy, it is somehow different in stretchiness compared to others. Cannot put finger on why. I think it does not have as much clinginess as former stretch covers - perhaps a different composition. It is not an issue, and I am VERY judgmental about how these sorts of covers tuck and make the furniture piece look tidy & crisp, not frumpy. Am not using the foam tube pieces for tucking, because from experience, those never work. Am genuinely satisfied with this cover, especially the price , and I certainly will repurchase. It does have handy-dandy labels around the elastic band edge to guide you in putting it on (so you don't go crazy). The labels say "front" and "back". This white cover is on a true-khaki denim couch and the khaki does not show through. Deeper, richer colors may though. Worth the money? Honestly, yes. No one paid me to write this review. I gave my own time to do so. I HATE paid reviews and deception.
This product does fit on the recliner, stays in place, and is machine washable. These could be great in another fabric. This fabric is easily snagged, threads pull and cause line and holes, it pills badly. My dark gray color looks like it has dandruff from the pilling. It is really bad if you have dogs that shed or long hair. In addition, it contributes to static shock and it catches on dry winter hands. We have only had these 5 months and they look like they need to be thrown away.
I used this to cover a small recliner. It was a little hard to get on, and the fabric won't stay in place with use, so I continually find myself having to smooth it out so that it looks good again. The fabric also started pilling after only a couple of months, which is too soon in my opinion. I'd say this might be worth it as quick and dirty solution, but since long term is my goal I'll be looking for something higher quality next time.
I bought three of these, two for our RV recliners and 1 for our house recliner. They work perfectly! I've had slip covers before from another company and as soon as you sit in them they're messed up. Not with these! They stay in place for the most part. They saved us a ton of money not having to revover those camper recliners, and we now have a pop of color in our living room by covering up the drab brown chair! It makes me smile and we could not be happier!!
Not easy to clean (unless you take it off and throw it in the washer). Not durable. Doesn't look that good. BUT you can train your cats not to rip up your chairs and couches! It clings to their claws when they scratch and they hate it. Pretty soon, all three cats gave up. And after a while, you can take the covers off and they still don't scratch. A true miracle product for a catty house!
Have an old (or new) big man/oversized recliner that's comfortable but hate the color? A recliner that structurally is in good condition but the fabric isn't? These covers are the perfect solution. Go on pretty easily. And are machine washable. Soft cool material.
Love the size. But I have a leather sofa and this cover slips around on the leather. I bought it to protect my sofa from my dogs slobber mouths, dirt and dander. It does just what I bought it to do. Works better than a blanket over the couch and easy to wash.
The material and fit are great but they don’t stay in place. The foam material stoppers don’t help at all. I’ve been trying to find a solution but have had no luck. This is great to look at but not to sit on. I would not recommend this item.
Good product but snags easily and is difficult to clean off. Everything sticks to it (stray hairs, pieces or paper, plastic) making it hard to clean the cover off even when using a vacuum. The appearance of the cover is nice but doesn’t hold up for a long period of time. If you are purchasing this for a piece of furniture that will be used frequently reconsider it. I have to fix this cover every time someone sits on my couch.
