Bought size Small Capri Interlink Squat Proof in Black. I am a HUGE fan of 90• by Reflex leggings, but keep forgetting to note which fabric/style it is I like. Now noting: I don’t like the “interlink” fabric. It is slick and shiny. Feels more satiny and plasticky than the others (Power flex, I guess??), which have a softer cottony feel. These feel like they don’t breathe as well and aren’t nearly as flattering Ah well. Now I know.
I am 5'9" and 170. I wear an 8-10 in pants and a 12-14 in hiking pants. I have large thighs and backside, and thick knees. I find most hiking and exercise clothes I have to way up in size to fit my legs and backside, and then the waist is waaaay to big. I researched which athletic pants to get, and saw a few recommendations for 90 Degrees on Amazon at a cheap price. I got a size medium based on some reviews to size down, and this was the right decision. These fit great, no gaps at the waist and no sliding down. I like that the high waist is really high, as most are too low. I feel that there is the right amount of compression and my cellulite doesn't show through. They are pretty long for capris, coming down past mid calf. They are more like Athetica's 7/8 tight length, which I don't like, and I purposefully was looking for a new brand precisely because I wanted a true capris length. But, my biggest complaint is the fabric. My thighs rub together, and there is a loud, very noticeable fabric rub sound! Almost as bad as corduroy! Its loud enough that I will not be wearing these around the house or in public. I MIGHT wear them when I cycle at the gym were my legs don't rub together. I was laughing as I was walking around the house it was so loud. I'm glad I only paid $22.
Soo...ion know why no one mentions this and it’s clearly seen in pictures that I looked at after I got this item but didn’t notice before. Umm...no one is going to mention the hem of these leggings??? They ARE NOT flushed up against your ankle. They look like it’s been stretched out and now you have a flared out hem. That’s not cute!! I elected to keep it and just pull the hem up more so I wear it more Capri leggings. The fit is actually nice. I hate that I make noise when I walk in them though. If you got thunder thighs like me then that will annoy you. The crotch has extra fabric which is an interesting feel but not that bad. Overall, they are good leggings but the hem being flared is not cute. Make note of some of the pictures that people posted and look. It’s not visible in all but I definitely saw it in a few.
I wanted to like these since I have seen SO many reviews equating it to Lululemon. I ordered the size based on my waist measurement. My waist measures at 27 inches 27.5 at the most. The chart suggested an XS that goes to 29 in. Not only was it too tight, the leggings were thick, and the band around the stomach was very wide, like past my waist. If I try these again I will go with a small and another type.
Fabric feels and looks more like leotards. These capris have a thinner fabric, pick up lint, pet hair and offer little compression. They aren't like the 90 degree Interlink high waist leggings I have purchased at Marshall's. They are of superior quality, have a more substantial fabric, don't pick up lint or pet hair and have great compression. The 90 Degree Interlink capris I purchased on Amazon are okay for lounging around the house but I felt self conscious wearing them in public. The 90 Degree Interlink leggings I purchases at Marshall's for $16.99 are made with 76% Polyester & 24% Spandex. The 90 Degree Capris I purchased on Amazon are made with $87% Nylon & 13% Spandex. I don't know for sure but I think might be last years models. My advice is to examine the product and fabric content before you buy and above all don't take the tags off assuming they are the same as you purchased elsewhere.
This is the fourth pair of this exact pant that I have purchased this year. All the same size, large. The first two fit GREAT and I love them so much I keep buying them, however the 3rd black pair I just received are the same size Large, but they’re tighter. I also purchased these in purple- also too tight. I feel bad returning them during this pandemic so I’ll just suck it up (literally), but I’m truly sad they don’t all fit the same even though they’re the same size and I’ve simply hit reorder!
The tummy support is not good. It cinches above the belly button but below it is relaxed so it almost makes a mommy tummy worse. The fabric is a slick (almost shiny) fabric. Very stretchy, which is nice, but I prefer a matte material. However, the fabric doesn't collect pet hair like most black leggings do. That was a plus. The tummy support and fit above the hips is the reason I would not purchase these again.
All is well, hence the good ratings for the above stars....BUT the color ran all over my hands and legs, even after I washed them, they still rubbed off on me. (Washed In cold water, by hand in a white sink, which I had to scrub hard to get the dye out! I have worn every major brand out there, and this was my first experience where a color ran with normal use. I have now washed them again and we shall see how they do. I also teach for Jazzercise and they use this company for most of their leggings. I hope this is just a batch that missed a step in the process because other then that, they are nice!
