I'm asked, as I write this, to tell "How does this product fit?" The accurate thing would be "Somewhat small" AND "too large."
It's a beautiful bra. I really wanted it to work, but it didn't. Excellent quality, very soft material, and the new "T" back (I'm used to a racerback) made for very free arm & shoulder movement; I almost felt like there was no back! The bra itself is very supportive, but I always get a medium in Champion & this was very small when I first put it on. It felt tight at the band just trying it on & I thought these would feel very constricting during high-intensity exercise. However, a couple of reviewers said they stretched after a couple of washes, so I want to try wearing & washing one..
UPDATE: After wearing it for 1 day the "cup" part felt more comfortable. I worked out that day & switched to a different bra. When I put it back on after exercising the band was all stretched out. I machine washed it on warm/gentle & let it drip dry, after which it fit the way it did in the beginning, but the band got all stretched out again, more quickly this time. The bottom edge wasn't even touching my skin. For some reason they seem not to have put enough stretch into the band. I will go back to the racer backs that I usually get. Disappointing.
I wear champion sports bras on a daily basis, whether I am just at home working or working out. I had purchased these because my old ones were beginning to lose their support in the band. I loved how the racer back looked on this particular style, so I took a chance on ordering them and having them work out like the one's I usually buy. Overall, they are very comfortable, however...the support is limited. These would not work for working out! I noticed I could feel my self move in the chest area just walking out to my mail box. They are not snug fitting, they almost just fit around your silhouette comfortably. I just wish they were supportive like all my other champion bras. Note: If you are large chested, you will have side boob with these after a while of wearing them. They don't pull you in like you would expect. They will not be long lasting either, as the band is thinner than usual.
The product itself is good and as expected, however you only receive one sports bra. My first order, I only received one- so I complained to Amazon, they said they will send out a “replacement” order with TWO sports bras and to send my one back- I told Amazon I had already worn the one bra. They still wanted me to send it back in order for me to receive my “replacement” order of the two sports bras a paid for which I thought was super weird because it was used? Low and behold, my “replacement” order came in and it only had one bra in the package. Complete scam. If you’re cool paying $30 for the one bra- go for it. But this is not a set of two.
These bras are very comfortable and well made, and I am very impressed with the smoothtec band that prevents the band from rolling or bunching. However, I have several problems that will keep me from ordering more of these in the future. These are my comments and concerns with this product. 1. I am a 36D, and these bras are not the most supportive for larger breasts. That said, it does fully contain me and give me enough support to wear them in everyday applications. I personally would avoid doing any sort of physical activity in these. However, I do think these would provide enough support for A/B cups and maybe even C. 2. Like I said earlier, the smoothtec band is brilliant. It stays in place without bunching or rolling, but I have noticed that the area underneath this band does not breathe as well as the rest of the bra. This means that I tend to shift it periodically throughout the day to let certain areas breathe. Overall, the bra is fairly breathable. 3. The design of this has its pros and cons. The design is very comfortable and allows for a wide range of motion. I also think the T-back is pretty. However, the design narrows the band in the back, and I believe this is part of what contributes to its lack of support.
Finally, I want to mention that I did order a size down. I should wear a large, but I ordered a medium. I did this because of my personal preferences with bras of this style. The medium fit a little more snug than I would have preferred, but not to a point where I couldn't stand it. These also stretch over time. Overall, I like these bras and will continue to wear them, but I am unlikely to purchase more in the future.
I had another Champion sports bra so I thought I'd like this one too. For me, a bra has to be stretchy for it to be comfortable and easy to put on. This did not make the cut.
For reference, my bra size is 34B, so I don't need a ton of support. I ordered size medium But the way the cut was in the back to the front, I had some side boob going on and the waist band was way too tight and uncomfortable and helped make a nice roll of fat on my back. (I usually don't have one!) "Snug" would be putting it nicely.
Anyway, if you're gonna get it, maybe sizing up would help. Good luck! I just ordered new champion bras (wasn't gonna chance ordering a different size) and the different style is much better! Size medium too. 🤷♀️
I'm a 34 D and I purchased the Large and it's pretty darn tight. Hoping it stretches out. Also the fabric is a little different than my previous Champion sports bras so possible that's what leads to the tightness
These are just what my daughter needed. She is still a bit self-conscious about developing, and these help to kind of smooth her out so that she doesn't feel like she is accentuating things. These have a racerback look so that if the top shows a bit, it looks like a tank top. They are comfortable for my daughter, and the size is as expected. These work for my daughter, and that works for me! I paid full price for this item. All opinions are my own.
These were a touch large compared to my other Champion bras, but it could be because the material is a little more stretchy. Of course I still love them, the back shape is super comfortable. I wish I had these when I injured my shoulder, they carry the load more comfortably than a lot of other racer back bras. I use for crossfit, and they work totally fine, but I try to use on more of a lifting day if possible. Little more jiggle than I normally want when jumping rope!
I really like this bra so much that I ordered it in black. I am 6’ and size XL bra. I’m breastfeeding so it provides the perfect amount of support. The only thing is is that I ordered the two pack of the white but only received one bra. I need to reach out to the seller to see what happened.
