There's no way this corset it normally worth $100 and even at $50+ it seems way over priced. I've purchased other corsets on Amazon at similar pricing that was made way better than this.

First of all it's not steel boned. The laces it comes with are also these super thin cheap sleek ribbon style laces that I ended up swapping out for suede laces. Because of this, don't expect it to actually "cinch" anything, because it won't. I ended up adding a waist belt on top just to give it the appearance that it did.

Also if you have a big chest it's slightly problematic because going smaller won't accommodate your chest but will fit your waist, while going bigger will probably make your waist look bigger.

Overall I ended up spending a few hours to modify to work for the Ren fest I was going to, but if I had more time I probably would have exchanged it for something different and better quality.

Sizing can be tricky

I am 5’9, 36C size 14-16 pants. Udually wear a large or XL. I do NOT like tight fitting things but of course knew with this type of style it is needed. Based off of the reviews u ordered a 3XL. The laces were long enough HOWEVER as I got closer to the top of the back it was pointless to try to lace it up all the way. If I pull tight enough there would be a slight gap due to the flap not being long enough. I am considering a larger size however there is a awkward gap in the armpit that even when laced up tight it does not go away (both with and without a bra). The material seems honestly like a very thick cardboard so pushing this material to try and force myself for that curve I’m looking for I worry about it ripping. I planned on wearing mine all day at renaissance fair in Houston (with tons of humidity) SO I would NOT recommend due to it not being breathable and would not last, now for Halloween for a few hours I could see it’s possible. Hope this review helps! Color is very very nice!

I bought this corset as part of a pirate costume. I purchased an XXL. In US sizes I can wear from and 8 to a 12. I had to pretty much re-engineer the whole thing. I double laced the back so that I could separately tighten from my back to my waist and from my waist to my hips. The shoulders looked adjustable but they are not, so I cut them where the laces are shown and there are real grommets there so I was able to re-lace the shoulder straps to make the corset longer so the waist part was actually on my waist. I then used a red ribbon to re-lace the front. One size smaller would probably have fit better because even with the back closed as tightly as I could at my waist, I would have liked it to be tighter.

I'm 5'2", 220lbs, with a 40DD bust. According to this item's size chart the 6x should have been too small by about 2", but it was huge. I was able to completely close up the front and back with room to spare. The weirdest thing is, while everything else was too big, the straps were SO EXTREMELY SHORT! It's weird how short these straps are.
Luckily I'm confident in my ability to complete minor alterations, so I returned the 6x corset for a 4x.
This one fits much better, except for the straps. I'm going to cut them, and make them adjustable with some cord of my own.
The modesty panel is also oddly cut with a deeply curved corner making the top of it slightly more narrow than the rest of it.
With all that said, the shape of it is nice and I like the material.
Do I think it's a tad pricey? Yes, especially for something needing alterations.
Shipping was SUPER fast though!
So, if you're comfortable with alterations, and need it fast, I'd say go for it as long as you can get the right size.

This is a great corset for the price, but if you don't have the right body shape, or the ability to alter it with needle and thread, you might be disappointed. I really wanted to keep this corset, but there were too many things wrong with it on my body. My waist is 28", and my hips are 34." I figured I was a "small" but even with the ties as far out as they could go (so that I could barely tie the ends together) I could barely get it zipped. Worse than that, though, is the fact that the shoulder straps are not adjustable, and even if I had much larger breasts, they would still be far too long. Really liked this corset but I could not make it work.

Shoulder do not fit how it's depicted

So the piece is cute and I love the color. The down side is that the shoulder do not sit where they are expected to sit. They are sewn on a weird angle so they sit at the sides of the shoulder not really holding anything up. The strings seem like they would just snap at any moment but so far they have been okay. If anything, I am more worried about the eyelets (where the string go) ripping off before the string gives out.

I’m a small and this was like extra extra small I wish I would have gotten a medium. Luckily it just barely fits if I have the strings the widest they can go in the back. The strings you should replace with your own, they break easily. The shoulder straps I had no issue with they did not fall on me like some people said they did for them. The material of the corset is a little too cheap for the price, however the boning is pretty sturdy.

This corset top is lovely. The fabric looks great. It doesn't smell weird like so many of the other Amazon costumes. But it is simply too complicated to put on. You not only have to get the laces right on the back, which is challenging enough to do on your own, but you also have to unlace most of the front in order to slip it over your head -- or else completely unlace it to put it on. I wanted to love it, but I know that because it is so irritating to put on, I wouldn't use it.

Missing items and runs small

I really like this corset. I love the fabric and it is well made. However I had to return the first one because it was too small. I used th e size guide. I am a 12/14 . So I ordered a second one in a 2x . Its a little snug but fits. However it was missing the garters and the gstring. I would have just contacted the seller but cant find a place to do that.
