I've bought this brand (but not this tight) before and had no problems. But this more advanced compression tech is pricey. I bought the large, even though all my tights are medium, because I was warned they run small. My measurements, weight and height were well within the size range provided for Medium. So disappointed. They are incredibly compressive, which is the point, but I had no chance of even getting them over my quads. They are tiny, and the strength you need in your hands to tug them, while fine when you're 25, is a lot harder at my age. Even I lost weight, these are pointless. If you are determined to have them, go up two sizes if you're tall, which seems a pointless waste of cash to me. Trader wants tags on to return. Good luck retaining the tags while attempting to don the garment. #angryface
I bought these for my girlfriend. She had a DVT and is still in recovery and these tights/leggings do the same job as the class 2 recovery stockings/tights, awesome support, no heavy legs feeling, perfect for sports and keeping leg compression on. I would recommend them for anyone seeking the best support leggings ever made. The build quality is superb and the benefits are equally rated.
I use these compression leggings when my legs are swollen and also if my leg muscles are sore from anxiety-related muscle tension.
When my pain in my leg muscles is at a seven or an eight, these leggings have helped. I also like the way it feels against my abdomen, the compression can be comforting.
I think the graduated compression feature is just okay. If you can afford these, they are nice, and they probably will help. If you are looking to achieve leg compression in an everyday context for way less money, try stretchy skinny jeans. I end up using those more often because even though the material is thinner these days for most jeans, stretch denim will still usually be thicker than even a really nice compression legging.
They do not work with regular fashion the same way yoga pants do, because there is a shine to this fabric. If you are wearing them for everyday purposes or pain management, you might want to make sure the rest of your outfit is casual enough to work with an athletic looking legging.
The only other thing to note is that sometimes, when I remove these leggings, I need to have an electronic massager already set up and ready to use. Sometimes there is soreness after compression, or it just becomes more noticeable after the compression has been removed.
I'm very disappointed with these, they are completely see-through, you can see the color of my underwear, while standing normally, not even squat-testing.
I am keeping them because I like how compressive they are, and the waist fits great and high (long torso hourglass). Design is cool too, unfortunately, I have to wear another pair of opaque tights over them. I will not be ordering another pair.
These are really great compression tights, but they are not the best leggings to purchase if you are looking for a pair that you can use for both working out wearing on the street. They are a little thin for casual, everyday wear. However, the thin fabric does not negatively affect their great compression feature, which you definitely want when working out. If you are looking for leggings strictly for training, yoga and other exercises, then I highly recommend these leggings. At this price point, just don't expect them to also be perfect for wearing as casual leggings. I ordered these for my adult granddaugter and the fit is true to size, but they are not terribly long (which may cause issues for women who are tall and are looking for full length leggings). For working out, they definitely garner a 5 star rating, I took them down half a star due to the thin material. Otherwise, they are great.
