These replace a previous, much loved and used pair of 2XU. They are a different design, but don't disappoint. They are robust, well made and offer good support, but are comfortable to wear for longer periods of time. I got my normal size and feel that I would need to size down to get serious compression.
I had such high hopes for these pants. They are expensive and the reviews were mainly positive. I use workout leggings hard and by all descriptions and advertisements these should be top of the line and I was willing to invest in a great product.
I put these leggings on and felt amazing , the fabric was thin but sturdy, compression was tight but not restrictive, the high waist was perfect height - I was excited and ready to head to the gym. I did a squat in front of my husband to show off my new pants and he laughed and told me they were see thru. I said there is no way these expensive pants aren’t squat proof ... I thought he was joking. He then described my underwear in great detail and finally took a picture during my squat to show me.
I have leggings from all different brands and price points , none of them are see through.
I was so disappointed in these 2xu ones. I thought they were built for CrossFit/Spartan/bootcamp stuff but they are not. Idk why the other reviewer said they were not see thru , she may need to have someone take a picture for her and really see. I would have been so embarrassed at the gym in these. Returned. The quest for perfect leggings continues...
Great for an XL frame with a pear/hourglass shape. Great rise, squat-proof coverage, great compression for circulation and performance. I own a few pairs now, because these are my favorite from societal compression brands and my favorite for the 2xu line.
I spent so much on these pants, and only after a few months of light wear they are pilled, are stretched out, and look like a mess. The positive reviews here must be from people who are rich and can afford to buy a new pair of these every month.
