Its a good scale for measuring weight and keeping track, syncs well with my phone. However , being a regular in the gym, and being quite lean, the scales tell me I'm well over 24% body fat, which isnt true for myself. It could be worrying for some as if the display is incorrect it could force people into incorrect dieting and over exercising to try and get the figures into the right ranges.
First off, if you are just interested in bodyweight and tracking it, these are great. This is all I have ended up using them for. They link to apps such as Myfitnesspal, which I can then automatically import into garmin for long term analysis.
The app they come with does work well as a stand alone app though!
The major downfall is the accuracy of the body analysis, then again, this is an issue with any model trying to track this. No scales which are the design (or similar) ever seem to give accurate readings. These scales are great if you are just interested in tracking the body composition trend, it is accurate in this sense!
I am happy enough with them for just tracking weight and looking at composition trends, and would recommend them for this! I would suggest these are the best scales of this type which I have tried.
Debated on buying this for a long time and decided to take the plunge under the impression that better monitoring of my weight and vitals (by graphs and a fancy app) may aid with motivation to loose weight. Whilst I can't comment on the success of this theory I can comment on the scales...
They work, they do the job. The display is bright and clear and overall its very hassle free. What's more, it's quick. Within a second or so it's on and taken your weight and sent all the data to the phone. Nice.
Loses a star as perhaps its gimmicky. A cheaper scale could do the same job. In fact I have a scale that displays 3 readings but it is extricatingly slow taking 5 seconds or more to display each reading whereas the eufy takes all measurements and pings it to the phone in a millisecond. Nice.
great, good accuracy, BUT PRIVACY WARNING FOR APP: Excellent for the price, and Can be integrated into Google Fit. Good, well packaged (mostly just recyclable cardboard). Good accuracy (compared with other scales and all abut the same); Must be used on firm flat floor. The app is detailed and easy to use, with multiple measurements; HOWEVER: The APP has MAJOR PRIVACY CONCERNS; 1) It HAS to have your location? 2) Multiple users can all see each others history and measurements? This is a crazy oversight, especially as only ONE user can REGISTER the scales; (allows multiple users within the ONE registered account). The APP privacy concerns are a major let down. The scales themselves are great, and provide lots of measurements. Would recommend, with the above reservation.
The scales are absolutely fantastic, being able to accurately measure your weight, % body fat, % muscle, % bone mass, % water mass etc. it can tell you everything about your weight. Normally, there are no issues with the app or the scales, however I have found that sometimes the app does not respond, no matter if you close it and reopen it. This means that the scales can't connect to your phone and the only way to get it working is to restart your phone. Saying this, I have not had the problem for a while now so perhaps they have released an update that has fixed this issue.
I could not recommend these scales highly enough, and so cheap for what you are getting with them! Fantastic kit, fantastic value for money
Easy to use, connects to phone quickly and seems to produce consistent results. No idea if its accurate and to be honest I would be surprised if it was given its working off low powered batteries. However, as long as its consistent I don't care if its saying x% when it should say y%. I've found it great for tracking my weight while making changes to my diet and exercise. Its entertaining looking at the other data like muscle mass and fat percentage (and to be fair, judging by the mirror it looks about right) but I still take the numbers with with a pinch of salt.
I agree with some of the other reviews on here. The scales are great and seem consistent for weight. The app is responsive, quick to pair with the scales and logs data efficiently. The Body Fat % however seems to be way off. I'm not sure if it's because the pads to stand on are quite small, but I went from around 15% on my old scales that packed up before getting these, to 2 days later saying 24.8% on these scales. Take it as it is, still gives you some interesting stats to go through.
The scales are excellent and synchronisation with the app is very good.
There are a few issues with the application that could definitely do with fixing and improving - for example, the labels on graphs should be changed based on what metric is being reported - what is 'Normal' Bone or Muscle mass??.
Otherwise a nice product and really useful in tracking weight loss/gain and overall body metrics.
Not accurate at all. Been using this for a few weeks. The weight is accurate but the rest of the measurements are way off. Had a full body MOT with a professional and these scales have a mind of their own.
Amendment: after making my initial review. The team got in touch and I have to say their customer service is brilliant. 11/10 just for customer service. They went out of their way to help and exceeded expectations
I can't judge the accuracy because I don't have any weights to check it with. But it's a great machine. It's helping with my weight loss loads. I've went from 191lbs to 180lbs in a month and it's down to the app. But the only downside at times is that it can take a while to get the reading to stop at the final weight and you're standing there thinking settle on my weight. Otherwise they're great.
