To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Don't buy this scale. It doesn't connect to Weight Watchers Canada accounts.
Customer service phone number just dumps to a personal voicemail. No response from customer service email.
I'm very disappointed that WW would allow their name to be used on this product. Conair is being completely dishonest by selling on Amazon.ca without a disclaimer that the app functionality and WW connection doesn't work in Canada.
The scale never worked properly and Conair fails to respond to customers. Almost immediately, segments of the liquid crystal display went blank making it near impossible to read your weight. Then the Bluetooth feature stopped working. Finally, the scale's calibration is completely wonky and my weight can go up or down by as much as 10 lbs within seconds. (I step on the scale and get a weight then step off, reset and step back on to see a 10 pound difference!) The Conair warranty office has been closed because of Covid (okay, I get it), but their web page encourages people to send email. They simply do not answer... Crappy product with poor support from the manufacturer - save your money. Too bad I can't give zero stars...
I've tried to install the Android App, looks like you need to be a member of Weight Watchers for this scale to work. The so called BMI and fat % isn't actually sensed by the scale, it's just a calculation the scale does. Essentially, just like any other non-bluetooth scale you can get, unless you have a WeightWatchers membership.... Glad I bought it on Amazon, because it's going right back immediately. If I could give a 'no star' rating, I would.
I tested this side by side with my old scale. I was curious to see if it reacted to subtle changes. I weighed myself holding nothing, then weighed myself holding a few items around the bathroom. My old scale showed a difference of up to 2.5lbs consistent with how much mass I was holding each time while this scale showed the exact same reading each time. They're obviously using memory to fake repeatability. This may be a software fix to compensate for cheap sensors. If you have this scale and feel satisfied, I'd encourage you to repeat this experiment.
I have no use for meaningless fake number on an LCD panel so I'll be returning this and avoiding this brand in the future.
I've replaced this scale twice and both times, the bluetooth wouldn't connect with my iPhone (IOS 14.3).
The WW Conair app won't connect to my existing WW account (Canada) either.
Last, I have an old WW scale and decided to upgrade to a bluetooth version to make my at home weigh ins easier. When I compare the difference between the two scales, there's a 5 pound difference. Also, I've stepped off, then back on this scale and there can be as much as a 10 pound difference!
Save your money and don't buy it because it doesn't do what it promises and I don't think it's very accurate either.
This product is a total disappointment. I had an older Conair body weight scale and it was excellent but this one is looks prettier but my experience is that it does not connect, the app does not work and it only really works for a manual body weight measurement. I actually really surprise Weight Watcher would attach their name to this.
