Not for curvy girls

I normally wear a size 14 but recently lost 10 pounds. That didn't matter when it came to this dress. Lark & Ro is a great brand, but runs at least 1/2 size too small. I bought this dress in size 14 and although it looked beautiful in front, it was too snug around my bottom. It's a shame because the dress is adorable. If you are a curvy girl with hips and booty, this dress will not work for you. I purchased another Lark & Ro dress with an A line cut and that fit perfectly.

Cute but a little itchy

For reference, I'm 5'6, 130 lbs, 36B, have a bit of a pudge in the middle and normally wear either a 4 or a 6 in dresses. I got the size 4 in this dress. It is a bit snug in some places but nothing a little shapewear couldn't fix. I think this is dress is cute and sassy without being overly revealing. I wouldn't wear it to church but I wouldn't be all embarrassed and self conscious if my grandmother saw me wearing it. Lol. It does hit a few inches above my knees but it's not scandalously short. I felt sexy but not slutty wearing it. The fabric is a tad bit itchy though. It seems to be well made, no crooked seams or loose threads, zipper works fine. If it weren't for the itchy factor, I'd give this dress 5 stars.

cute but a little bunchy

This dress is as exactly as descibed and looks like the picture. Very flattering, comfortable, and great lightweight material but still has some thickness to it. I love where it hits on the legs, not too short and above the knee. I love the flare at teh bottom which adds style and a gives your body a great shape. I really like that can wear a regular bra with it and the straps dont show in the back, i always have the worst luck with strapless bras since i have very little chest. This dress can be dressed up or down, cute iwth a little jacket or for a wedding, or even a conservative dress for work or worn with flats casually. The only thing i dont like is under the chest the material bunches a little bit where the stomach is which makes you look a bit bigger and its kinda awkward. i dont know if its how the material is sewn or just a little to big for me but overall this is a great dress. I really love how flatttering and comfortable it is and its a basic black dress that every woman should have!

First I LOVE Lark & Ro dresses! For work, dinner with the girls, date night, etc. There's a dress that will work for every occasion.
That said, This one draws the eye right to the stomach ( if you have a big one), if not it will be adorable! SERIOUSLY, if your slim or porportionate this will be super cute.
I'm wearing the 14 and I'm 5'10 190 pounds. Maybe it's a combination of my BIG bust and stomach together but the plain flat front and the cut of the dress makes me feel like this accentuates the negatives around the middle section.
The material doesn't wrinkle which I love and my normal size worked for me.

Bring style and confidence to your everyday wardrobe

I like Lark & Ro dresses. They are reasonably priced and have a nice flare to them. You can wear them out for fun and sometimes from work to an evening out like this dress. This is a versatile dress. It will work year round with a sweater. It has a classic and feminine silhouette. I like how the length hits at a good spot on my legs to show them off nicely. The neckline is more modest than I usually wear out, but that makes this dress good for work. The fit of the body on me is as expected. Its a little tight on me in the chest due to the size of my chest, but I think it would fit comfortable for women chest size D or smaller.

Cute basic black dress

The Lark & Ro Women's Sleeveless Crew Neck Ruffle Hem Sheath Dress is very cute. It’s a basic black dress that can be used for so many occasions. I love the style. The problem I had is the size was too small. I had to give this to my daughter. The dress is well made with good detailing. It’s a good quality garment. It is made from a heavier 85% Polyester and 15% Elastane. It has stretch to make it comfortable. I hand wash and line dry.
