It fits well, no real complaints. I had a recent neck/shoulder injury and cannot reach 1 arm behind me, so I needed to try a front hook bra. I still have minor issues getting it on, but it is much easier than trying to twist around a back hook. I do like that there is a back hook option on it. I wish there was more back support.
If you are looking for an undergarment to really look down your situation this is a good bet. Definitely not the most visually appealing and it's a very conservative 36ddd, once everything is in there its definitely not moving. Almost shy of being too tight / too small but it works for what the goal is. I would definitely describe this as higher and tighter, but is for sure getting the job done.
I received this bra free in exchange for an honest review. I personally love Playtex bra's, they always make it seem that I have that nice shape in that area. Well this bra is no exception. I have the feeling that I'm being held in place with just the right amount of support. This would have been awesome after my recovery from surgery as it has openings in the front and the back, that way if you can't raise your arms to undo the back you can unfasten in the front (that is a plus for me). My only complaint is that it seems to run a little small. I wear at 40C but it fits like a 38C, the packaging threw me off because it says 40C and 400C and I wasn't sure what the heck that was and it stopped me in tracks for a minute. It's snug but I like the support that I'm getting from the bra. I would order another in a heartbeat I would just order a 42C.
Surprisingly this bra offers support. I'm skeptical about bras that don't have under wires, but this bra isn't too bad. I wore a T-Shirt over it and it still looked fine. The straps are wide enough, but not too wide, to help hold up the front with out grinding into your shoulders. Now I wouldn't go as far to say "easy" on/off, but it wasn't difficult either. There are 6 hooks on the front and 4 on the back. Closing it in the front was easier, but you have 2 extra hooks to contend with. It is nice that you can pick which option (front/back) to put on/take off. Now it does have the "granny" look, but the comfort makes it easy to overlook. For an everyday bra I think it's good.
I didn't realize this is a post surgery bra I liked the idea of being able to have the front or back closure as I'm having problems with my shoulders and front closure is much easier to put on. I did see on the packaging that it has pockets for breast forms. Nice bra but the 18 hr bras have always been a good bra. I didn't see the price but I'm sure this bra is worth it!
This is made to be easier to get in and out of, particularly in a post surgery situation, but that flexibility can be useful anytime the contortions required for rear closure bras are an issue for the wearer. This is a very traditional Playtex style bra which is great if that is what you are looking for. Just don't tell the 18 year olds you are wearing one.
