Amazing Bed

I have purchased the King Bed and mattress (Mattress with Memory Foam) at the same time and am super happy with the products. The design is amazing --> looks great and the mattress is super comfortable. I was a bit sceptical buying a bed and mattress online because there is no way to try it but after reading a few of the positive reviews I decided to give it a try, considering the low price. It arrived within a few days and was super easy to assemble (the instructions are very easy to follow). This is by far one of the best beds/mattresses I have ever slept on.

The only thing that I wasn't happy about was the way it was delivered: the delivery company has just left the package downstairs in the lobby instead of ringing us and bringing it into the apartment. It wasn't easy for us to carry it upstairs, because it's quite heavy. Other than that, I'm very happy with the purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Sturdiness

Perfect except the base is ridiculously low.
I have arthritic knees and hands and there is no way I can get out of that bed on my own. I have a beautiful medium firm mattress of 38 cm Hight, but that still won't do.
I have just ordered two thick new mattresses to use on top of each other.
The description NEEDS to include prominently displayed measurements of how high the base is.

Great bed - I would buy it again

* super clear instructions- numbers match up with numbers. The best instructions I’ve ever seen in terms of clarity and simplicity.

* super sturdy - I was a little bit sceptical, but this bed does.not.move. The slats Velcro down and they stay there.

* no movement or squeaking - at all. It’s really impressive actually.

* it is low - but with my mattress on top it’s perfect height (I’m 5’ 7”) and the bed doesn’t look low in the room. My last bed frame, I couldn’t touch the floor when sitting on the side of the bed.

* packaging - perfect. Everything individually wrapped. The ratchet tool which is included is the best thing ever. IKEA should provide this too.

* looks good

* I like that it has no ‘foot’ to the bed, because it makes putting sheets on easier - king mattresses are so heavy.

* I would recommend this to bed frame to anyone.

Very happy with product. Shipping was super fast. Very easy to assemble, it was all numbered.. you cannot get it wrong. Would definitely get another zinus bed if I was in the market. Coming from 2 previous ikea bed frames, this is way better quality. Even the slats have Velcro on the sides so they don't move around. I'm extremely happy with the bed. Thabks

As the other reviewers have noted... this bed is LOW! We read the detailed description, got out our measuring tape and checked how low our bed would be before purchasing. I would advise anyone to do the same to avoid any negative “OMG this bed is low” reviews. Yes, this bed is low and it’s exactly what we wanted. Our room is on the smaller side and having a low bed makes the king size look proportional and not like a behemoth in the middle of the room.

The bed was packaged very well with care taken to avoid pieces rubbing up against one another and damaging paint work. If anything, it was probably packaged a little too well and leaves a lot of plastic to discard - which environmentally isn’t the greatest, but.. what can you do? It was ridiculously easy for one person to put together and very sturdy. It would be equally as easy to disassemble and move if required.

Overall, very happy with our purchase.

Okay... basically my Zinus Suzanne Queen arrived and the timber bed head piece had been drilled slightly incorrect resulting in the bed not being able to assemble 100%. I must have been extremely unlucky as I could find no other customers with the same experience. Naturally I was quite upset, but I contacted Zinus and to their credit they acted on this promptly and efficiently. A new piece was put together and shipped out to me. And I can now say with a smile on my face, I now have a completely assembled bed!

I'm so happy with Zinus's product, I went and bought another Suzanne in a single this time. And because my flat is 1 room, they are sitting next to each other (I will add photos later so future customers can see the 2 sizes side-by-side, that might benefit someone)

This bed is the best I've ever assembled. It's strong, it's quick and easy. The instructions are great, unlike other beds everything is numbered and little touches like the number stickers are actually stuck on properly (I put together another brand bed a few weeks ago and half the stickers had fallen off inside the box!)

And then there is the ratchet tool, that tool is amazing. I now have 2 of them and I'm keeping these safe. Not only for unassembling/reassembling these beds but for all other allan key applications in the future. It's the little things that count and Zinus get's that. This is a perfect example where they've done everything right.

For those interested, the 2nd bed I assembled took about 7 minutes since I knew what I was doing. The first would have taken 15-20 minutes not allowing for the aforementioned troubles I had.

Thanks Zinus. Your customer support was fantastic. I have friends who operate multiple AirBnB's. When I hear anyone asking about bed's guess who I will be recommending.

Very happy with this base

Arrived with a couple of small dings in the headboard, but these hide behind the pillows, so not an issue for me. The base is fairly low, you won't keep anything except maybe slippers under the bed, but paired with a Zinus 30cm mattress it comes to a comfortable height for me. Pay attention to the numbers when you're assembling and it will all go smoothly. Loved the way the slats on the base just roll out!
Had it a month now and its been very solid, looks great, and was a good price. Thoroughly recommend this base (and the mattress is comfy too)..

Nice low frame, very easy to put together.

Well packaged item, all the tools you will need are included and each head screw in individual packaging compartments, after getting the rotation of the parts right it was very easy to put together and follow the guide. The bed is low, I can sit on the mattress and have feet flat on the floor. Others mentioned it was low so I had expected it, but take notice that no one is exaggerating when they say it is a low frame.

Flatpack installation soo much easier and sturdier than IKEA!

I was fairly impressed with how the installation guide and tools thought of everything, making it so easy, even I could install it while my right arm was hurt. All the screws and bolts could be screwed in by hand. The holes and entry points were each of the screws were exact and there was no misalignment or misplacement that you find with a lot of flatpacked furniture. The entire bed when completed was sturdy and solid without being too heavy. You don't have to be a muscular body builder to lift the bed. The slats had velcro aligned onto the base so that there would be no misalignment. The bed also offered an adhesive patch which was to be peeled back when the mattress was placed ontop of the base so that the mattress is stuck in place. No sliding around the bed base. For the price and the quality of the bed, I am super impressed. I thought that for the price i paid I would be throwing it out within the year but after putting it together and now using it daily (not as a guest bed) I feel very chuffed at the value for money of this "Amazon" bed purchase. The courier guy who delivered the flatpacked bed even recommended the bed! He said he had one and was complimentary in all respect to the bed. Luckily he brought the entire box and mattress (which arrived at the same time) into my apartment and laid it in the bedroom. All I needed to do was unpack it and put it together. The courier even gave me advice on what to do and don't do when i assembled the bed and unpacked the mattress. I do regret not getting a bigger bed though (I got a DB). With the pillows on the bed, my feet tends to hang over the bottom edge of the double bed and I'm only 165cm. All in all - super happy with the bed and mattress - especially when compared to the pricing in stores. Only thing is getting used to the lower height of the bed. It's almost futon style in that it's very close to the floor. But I have no complaints about it being lower to the floor anyway. Just different.
