Early delivery to Canada and quick reply from the supplier in China. Washes well with no shrinkage after several washes. Great value for money. I wear my trouser often in the summer. I will be purchasing another pair. As reference, I am 5'4"/163 cm tall and wear a US 4/6 (Fr 38/Eur 36) trouser and bought the size small (perfect fit). The hem of the trouser touches my 3" heel (similar to the image on Amazon) but I can wear a flat sandal is the hem appears to graze (but does not touch) the floor.
So pretty! I love these, and dance with them often. They look great doing Tango. When worn, they look like a skirt or wide-legged pants. When you do any kind of flourish with your legs or bend your knee, the fabric falls prettily with the slit rising just above your knee. The fabric is thin but not see-through, and this is not at all booty-hugging, as the fabric is too loose and stretchy. It does wrinkle a bit but the wrinkles don't hold or show up after wearing for a few minutes. The band is thick and because it's not tight, it doesn't accentuate any pantylines etc.
The waistband will not hold op the weight of the pants. Got one inch matching color non rolling elastic, cut on the side waistband a hole. Safety pin pull through elastic, sew or pin ends together for tighter fit . Other then that$. Xl fine for size 14 and length is fine 5-10
I’m so head over heels that I ordered several in different colors. The mauve is a pale dusty-pink which is so beautiful that I ordered 3 in that color. Black is a must, a jet black. The plum looks like a gorgeous shade—will see when it arrives. The mocha looks like a nice color too. I’ll update when they all come in.
Fabric is very thin and flowing. I get it to just barely dry and then hang it up. The hem at the side seams could use an iron touch up, but it’s optional, I’d say.
I’m 5’6” 140 lbs and the medium and large both fit well. I’m thinking the XL might look even better, possibly, more like a skirt.
One little thing: they wrinkle easily if I’ve been sitting and perspiring a little. To me that’s not too bad. It’s mostly in the back.
Something that may seem obvious: using a public restroom I need to gather the hems before pulling them down, so they don’t flop onto the floor.
These are the best clothing find I’ve made all year, and sizing doesn’t need to be exact, as long as they’re not too small. Thrilled, and I’m an uncompensated reviewer!
I am 47 yrs, 5'7", roughly 160lbs. I ordered size L in the Olive color (the longer pant).
The fit is perfect! The wide waistband is extremely comfortable (no elastic inside) and the fabric is super soft. The Olive color is fresh, yet neutral, exactly as shown. The longest length hits me right above my ankles and the side slits are roughly about my knee.
While this looks like a beautifully gathered skirt, the fact that it's actually pants makes summertime less dreadful (another reviewer coined the term, "chub-rub" to describe that awful rubbing of thighs in humidity).
My daughters want to steal it and/or get themselves one.
It's got nice form, nice contuer, and feels soft and comfortable. (I'd buy another color if it were cheaper.) I don't think you'd go wrong. -- Also, I'm 5'2" and 148 pounds, I ordered the large, it fits fine.
