My waist is 30.5 in. and hip is 38.5 in. so bought the size 30 according to given size chart measurements. However, the actual pants is tight at the hips though waist is alright. In addition, the style is different. It is very tapered to the ankle instead of straight cut look as shown in the picture which makes moving around and sitting down rather uncomfortable and wearing winter boots difficult. Also do note that the pants is manufactured in China, with no information on washing instructions (not even in Chinese). Will be returning the pants.
I had a heck of a time finding reviews that specifically addressed pants size... and ladies we all know that our sizing varies widely no matter how it’s labeled. Anyway, I wear a 16 jean usually, and I’m 5’4”. I’m a balanced shape, not particularly bottom heavy but certainly a curvy girl no less. I really just wanted some snow pants that didn’t make me feel like the Michelin man, and I think these are it! I ordered the 38, and they fit perfect. No stretch, except that the waistband has a couple inches of elastic on each side, which is particularly handy for sitting down. I have a fairly high waist, so these sat pretty much right where I’d want them to. They are a bit long but I’m used to that, I imagine they’d fit someone up to about 5’9” without being too short to put over a boot. Looking forward to testing the waterproof feature while sledding.
5’9, 145 lb, 36-28-36. Ordered a small, fit as expected. Very soft and warm. Water resistant. The waist is more high waisted than anticipated but they are comfortable, warm and seem to be well made for the price.
I love it. It kept me warm all day and night in low 30 degrees weather in Vail Colorado. I needed something inexpensive to wear once, but it turned out pretty decent made, good quality too. I did snowmobile and walked and played in the snow no issue...
These are perfect lightweight ski or snowboard pants. They have a slim fit, so you can wear them out to a bar or restaurant after skiing, and they won't look out of place. And, as another reviewer noted, they don't have that "trash bag sound" other ski pants make when you walk in them. Note: if you are going to be out in freezing temperatures, you might be better off with a thicker pair of ski pants. These are definitely lightweight pants.
I can also confirm they are waterproof/water-resistant. I wore them skiing in on a warm but heavily rainy day in SoCal, and they kept my underwear dry. They also dried quickly overnight, even when a lot of my other clothing remained wet the next morning.
I usually sized xs and I ordered xxs, they are perfectly fit. I like the cutting and fleece inside keep me warm and comfortable. Updated: When I ordered again this year, the size are different. The xxs not small enough for me now, they changed, it running large on me, so I returned it. What a pity! I love this pant, but i only can keep the old one that fit me.
I was pleasantly surprised at how nice these snowpants are. I'm not a snowboarder, but I do live in Minnesota and I need light snowpants maybe a few times/winter. These will meet my needs. For size reference, I wear a size 16 pants and ordered the XXL. They fit well.
So I listened to some of the reviews that said to size up and the pants are a bit too big. I planned to wear leggings underneath these, but I am not sure I would need to. The pants seem very warm. If you intend to wear something bulky under them, size up...if not, order your true size
Reviews helped to determine my size exactly. I was going to get a 34, because that’s what made sense on the sizing guide, but after reading what other women wrote I got a 32 and it fits perfectly over my leggings. I wear 10-12 in pants, size medium leggings. The belt is just fine. Don’t need it to hold pants up just for utility I guess. They’re waterproof and comfy, not too hot, don’t make any noise. Allow me to go walking in the rain and freezing temps and I’m happy about them!
