5.0 out of 5 starsEpic scissors! Use for so many applications in the kitchen
Reviewed in Australia on 4 November 2020
They are sharp and definitely not child friendly!! Easy to clean and great around the kitchen for all applications, love that it separates into two pieces for cleaning. Don't by one, get 2 or three if you love to cook
I love Joseph & Joseph products....I’ve been on a personal mission to buy this brand as a first preference because it’s just so well made and generally very innovative.
Then I purchased the scissors.....what a massive disappointment! They feel absolutely awful in the hand to hold. How did this get past the design stage? Did they make prototypes and try these out before going to mass production???... I have an average size medium mans hand....these feel overly clunky.....with hot spots....and pinch points.....Just awkward.....I can’t use these..........and I can’t give them away because I don’t have any enemies to give them to.
I was expecting the best scissors ever made and got instead poorly designed junk.
Not sure what the rave reviews are about? Maybe people dont want to be negative about having just spent a lot on a pair of scissors? Really uncomfortable to use, fingers and thumbs are not comfortable, I'm a man with average size hands.
It's a pair of kitchen scissors sharp enough to cut most of food, but it's a bit too big for people with smaller hands to handle. The central part of the scissors where the blades separate have rusty stains after one month of use.
What lets these down is an utterly pointless decision to make the two halves detachable. WHY?? I have never had trouble cleaning scissors in my life. As a result they keep coming apart and they are VERY ANNOYING...
