the Material in these panties is very rough and hard...not soft like a pantie should be, and the elastic in the waist band is almost non existent....I will not be buying these again...only plus is they come in pretty colors.
So I got my new pack of briefs delivered, and opened them to be hit in the face with super super strong perfume or fabric softener smell. That creeped me out -- did someone wash these and return them? I decided to try sniffing the second on down in the pack and that one was even stronger. I don't know what's going on at the plant they made these or packed them at but...whew -- definitely sending back. I'm trying another pack, these were too small anyway, not that I tried them on.... I'll report back when I get a second pack and see if it's the same.
So let me explain. I'm pregnant and plan to use these mostly after delivery when you need tent sized underwear to hold the massive amount of pads and diapers postpartum. So for that, they're acceptable at best.
Girls, I ordered a size bigger because of my ever changing belly and holy crap I'm up to my tits in fabric. Literally. And I'm not a big gal. I'm 4 months pregnant (ALL baby belly), baby bump already (2nd kid), and 160 lbs. So my advice is if you want decent underwear, don't buy anything under than low rise. Oh, and you can forget the sex appeal. It looks like I stole these from a local nursing home. Ain't no husband want any part of that.
These used to be very nice tight knit cotton soft and comfortable but not anymore. They are paper thin practically see through and the elastic twisted on the very first wash. Oh and the price is nearly doubled in the last couple of years. I don't think you can find decent underwear anymore without going to the high end designer labels. I was really disappointed as the ones I've had for 3+ years are thicker and softer than the new ones and much better quality overall.
Something different about the cut of these Panties. (compared to former panties purchased from Fruit of the Loom) I can best describe them as a narrow cut with ample room in the seat area, and a bit tight in the leg openings, as if the person who designed them is not familiar with the body a size 18 women. They aren't my favorite undies.
While these technically fit, they aren't nearly as comfortable as I expected. They feel very thin/cheap and not soft at all. I like that the waist band is covered. My mom has some from a few years ago, that's why I bought these, hers are much softer and comfier. I mean they work so I'll use them. I'm just disappointed.
They are soft. The problem is one wash and they shrink...alot. And there is not much stretch. So, I washed them before wearing, as always, now they aren't very comfortable. And since they've been washed they can't be returned. Unfortunate and dissapointing.
Do not like the new covered waistband. It doesn't expand as much as the plain elastic. It is not comfortable when one sits down. Have been a customer for many years, but will have to look for another brand. Also, the colors they show are not what you get. Tried twice.
