To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Carhart is one of the best names in the business. I think that Quality is its benchmark! I noticed that shirt that I ordered has thumb loops at the ends from preventing the sleeves from retracting up your forearms while working. The bottoms however are another story. I discovered that these “retracted” during work and ended up at my knees by the end of the day despite pulling wool socks up over the ends. So...If the material has the property to “retract” while being worn, either include some sort of a “heal loop” like the tops have (or) weave in a “sock” to keep the bottoms from becoming a pair of shorts!
25 years ago I had a pair of polypropylene tights I used as a base layer and for cold weather running and cycling. Had to cut the worst of the wind yet breathe enough to dump heat during workouts. Oddly, I couldn't find a darn thing that suited me until I found this pair. Two cold workouts, absolutely perfect. Just enough protection, plenty of cooling as needed. Haven't used them as a base layer yet but I expect good things.
The quality of fabric & assembly seems great, but fit is not good. Thinner than I expected from "midweight". I have 36 inch inseam so I order size "tall" when available. These are not long, they are "regular", they don't reach anywhere near the ankle. Waist fit is good, but don't bend over or you will they will pull down in the back. Not a flexible enough fabric in the back, even for my small butt. Shame, my older cotton base force from Carhartt were perfect.
