This rug feels like the microfiber cloth you use to wash your car. If you stand on the rug for too long, this may leave imprint since the spiky material can bend. I've had rugs like this before and that's exactly what happened and eventually, the spiky material will all be flattened out and full with lint and hair (that doesn't come out in the wash). The non-slip will be better on a tiled floor with grooves but on a completely smooth surface, this may slide (as it did in my bathroom which has completely flat).

If you like this style these other things I mentioned may not be an issue for you. I thought this was a different style than my last rug but it was the same material with the same potential issues. I gave it 3-stars since it feeling decently made, it's soft, has some slip resistance but it's still a no for me. It won't last or hold its shape/look over time (in my opinion from previous experiences with similar rugs). I hope this helps :)

It's decent for the price but it's nowhere near as "full" as it is in the pictures. There is more spacing between the shags and you often see and feel the rough fabric backing underneath it. The mat and backing are thin but doesn't slip around too much, but is easy to kick up and fold in on itself. I'm not sure if it'll hold up under heavy use given the above two points to be honest. However for the price it's probably just what is to be expected.
On the more positive side it is very soft and the color choices were great.

It IS soft and it would be great in a bathroom just for women - hence the 3 stars instead of 1. There are young boys and a dad here and the waterproof backing is a must until we can replace bathroom wood floor (why?) with tile. In fairness, I missed that the description does not claim it to be waterproof. Water dripped on it showed it was not waterproof. Returned before using, so no idea on the cleaning.

Honestly everything is perfect about these rugs but they DO NOT have a non slip bottom. I actually hate this thing because it STAYS wadded up at the base of the toilet because its slides anytime its stepped on. Gonna have to figure how to add onto this rug to make it work for me since I've already spent the money.

It’s an average product by no means a luxury product. Toilet Rug does slide around on my smooth regular tile. The non slip feature is non existent in my opinion and can be hazardous if one not careful especially with children. Potential of slip and fall. Do to the lack of non slid adhesive on the bottom. But a positive note the navy blue is beautiful and look good.

I haven’t cleaned it yet so when i do if there’s a problem I’ll edit this today is 4/19/20 it’s very soft but thinner than I’d hoped especially for $16.99 I expected higher quality but I need it now so I can’t return.
