These capris are just ok. I would actually give them three and a half stars. The fabric is thick and stretchy, so I feel like they will be durable. However, the thickness of the fabric makes them a little stiff. I wish the knees were articulated so they wouldn't feel as restricted. They do run a little big. I usually wear between a 4 and a 6, and the size 4 was just a little big. Once you add a liner, it is not too bad. I got them on super clearance so I kept them since they are thick enough to double as a hiking capri. If I had paid full price, I would have returned them.
This product is listed as a newer model of the Pearl Izumi Ride Women's Launch Capri pant that I have. I usually wear sizes 4-6, and for the launch capri, I have a pair of size Small which fits me perfectly. These Summit capri turned out to be much bigger than I had expected, even size 4 is a bit too loose at the waist and thighs. So, definitely order a size down. The quality of the pants are good, although not as soft and stretchy as the launch capri.
The pants are very good over all. I haven't been impressed with the liners in any of Pearl Izumi's baggy shorts, so I wear whatever is working for me in that department. Not sure if I would wear these on a longer ride than my 10 mile commute though. I'll have to give it a go and if it doesn't work out stow them and ride on.
