Stunning & high quality

For reference, I am 5'0 and 105 lbs. I ordered the XS in Sapphire.

PROS: This coat is gorgeous--a striking shade of blue. I love that it is machine washable and that the hood is removable. For $34, this coat exceeds my expectations. Top notch construction and design, yet not heavy. It feels like it will protect me from the elements and last decades.

CONS: Minus 1 star because it runs a little large. The sleeves are a little long and I wish it had a belt to cinch it at the waist. As with most coats, this is clearly designed for taller people (above 5’4”).

Love London Fog coats. This coat is A-Line cut. The top across the bust is too snug and the bottom too wide. I tried both the large and the extra large, neither fit correctly. So sad that I had to return both.

I bought this coat because it has a hood and button closure instead of a zipper - they tend to break. It’s exactly right for autumn travel in France. I won’t need an umbrella, and it can be layered with a sweater for warmth if necessary. Alas, keeping this coat will require compromise. I’ve worn London Fog coats for many years, but their quality has declined - the fabric isn’t as fine as it used to be. It's stiff and shiny. And as always for me, the sleeves will have to be shortened. People with long arms will be happy with this coat.

I got one in brown khaki. It's well made, in a classic khaki color, as shown on the product page. The fabric is substantial and seems water resistant. There is a lining in the same color. It has a slight A-line shape. The hood is removable.
I wear US women's dress size 4. With these I had to exchange for an XS, and it's still fairly roomy, and the sleeves run a little long. The shoulder width is about 18-19".

Comfortable and looks nice

I love trench coats. I don’t think this one completely fits the requirements of trench coats (which I only just looked up for this review), but it comes close enough. It has nice deep pockets (which I love), a removable hood (which is great because I don’t like hoods and live in a place with little rain), the buttons are nice and big (which makes them easy to operate).

I wear this coat for warmth, not rain, so I can’t say how well it repels moisture. It isn’t all that stylish (in my opinion), but it still looks nice. It has some weird flap thing going on at the top of the front chest area that I think is decorative…

I got a Small and it was rather baggy.

I found this to be an attractive jacket, with a loose fit. The fabric looks durable, and the round buttons look stylish. I also like that it includes a hood--to me a jacket without a hood is much less versatile--and has front pockets (another important factor for me, when it comes to jackets).

The one thing I would change is the button-only closure. I wish there was a zipper closure as well, purely as back up. I also like having a choice between buttoning and zipping up--visually, it would still look pretty much the same if I zipped up the jacket underneath the buttons, but usage-wise it would be even more convenient. Overall, though, I found this to be a nice jacket.

This London Fog light rain jacket has an overall nice design. The fabric and lining is made of quality materials. I just wish it fit me! I ordered a size small and it is a full size up to medium.
