It took me a long time to find the perfect size and texture for a bathmat. Most are too heavy which destroy your washing machine and dryer because of the bulk and so many have rubber backing which also can/will destroy your washer/dryer over time. I wash these as much as towels and they're holding up beautifully. Really nice quality!

I realize it is far too late to return these rugs, but if I could, I most certainly would. I have been running up and down stairs every 5 minutes, yes, 5 minutes to check on these rugs in the dryer. This is so the lint trap doesn't get so full it starts a fire!!!!
The laundry tubs where the washer drains had so much fuzz I could have woven myself a new rug!! The lint trap is full every 5 minutes, my floor is covered in rug fuzz. I am surprised there is anything left!

This is the first time I washed them. They really didn't shed much while on use before.

So,buyer beware, I warned you.

Reducing review to the least possible stars.

After using & laundering these rugs for MONTHS they are STILL losing clumps of linty fabric in the washer & dryer. Do NOT buy these!

Very very very linty. The photo only shows 1/8 of what I actually pulled out of the washing machine. And that’s after having washed & dried the rugs already 3 other times! I’ve purchased rugs at Walmart that didn’t shed this much!

I did not expect a lot when I ordered. I simply wanted 100% cotton bath rugs to step out on after showering. I washed them right after receiving them and thought they would come out 'shedding' a lot of the cotton fiber. NOPE, wrong again! Surprisingly, they even kept their shape! Too good to be true? Too great not to be! Ordering more now!

It's plush and soft and a good color. I wanted something to brighten up life sometime -- and the color does it.

But the reviewers are right the mat continues to shed a very large amount of linty fabric which is still a nuisance in the washer and dryer even for later loads. The bath mat and sends so much linty fabric out the washer hose during wash that the lint snare clogs up so that it pulls of and clogs the drain or water spews out the top of the snare high into the air getting the floor wet

I am so happy this rug does Not have the rubber nonslip backing. I have marble tile that needs to breathe. This is the perfect rug for ensuring my expensive tile stays unmarred. These rugs are thick and comfy. I washed both rugs and they completely held together throughout the wash and dry cycle. Good quality and durable. I had a hard time finding 100% cotton without the nonslip backing and these rugs are exactly what I was looking for.
