I have worn and purchased MukLuk slippers for many years. I purchased this pair thinking it would fit like all of the other high top pull on slippers that I have had in the past. Wrong! You have to be like Houdini to get your foot past the ankle bend in these things. Not made properly! I hope this review helps someone else save their money
I started buying Muk Luks slipper-boots a few years ago when I found some at Walmart. Back then they offered whole sizes (no half sizes). I am an 8 1/2 , so between the 8 and the 9 , the size 8 fit perfect. When I went to order these Gladys slippers, I noticed now they offer 2 sizes per slippers (5-6, 7-8, 9-10, etc). I wasn't sure what size I would be since 7-8 should fit size 7 feet (which would be way too small) and 9-10 should be large enough for a 10. I tried both size boot-slippers. The 7-8 is very tight for my 8 1/2 foot and the 9-10 was too large. These particular Muk luks are not easy to slide on, the opening around ankle is very small. Even on the too large slippers I had to force my foot through the opening. Muk Luks brand should go back to the sizing they used to offer on slipper-boots. I always got a perfect fit then. These are very cute but the sizing stinks.
I read the other reviews and hesitated a minute before ordering these because a lot of people said they ran small or tight. I'm glad I went ahead and ordered anyways. They are a bit on the snug side when they first arrive, but not so snug as to be unwearable for me. All the other Mukluks I've bought in the past had this same issue - tight fit on arrival, but wear them for a week and they'll stretch out a bit and be perfect. Fleece inside is super soft and cozy and the nonslip soles are great.
These are exactly as pictured. I bought them a while ago but today is the first day I actually tried to wear them because it’s finally cold enough. They are comfortable and have a good cushion. I plan on only using them indoors. The sole doesn’t seem like it’s really made for outdoor every day use I think they would fall apart quickly.
Okay if you are looking for Ugg’s then skip. I am tired of spending money on slippers that stain , the dog inherits or get lost! So far none of these have occurred. I wear them on wood floors with no issues. I clean, do laundry, get out of tub with them , let the dogs out in them , they do their job! Happy customer!
I bought these for my adult daughter for Christmas. She really liked them, though they were a little tight. She normally wears a 7 and I bought a medium for her. She wore them the rest of Christmas day.
As others have stated, they’re a little difficult to put on at first. Don’t have stretch you just have to work them over your heel. I have owned them for a month now and just put them on and went to tie the strings and one of them pulled out. I don’t pull them tight when tying, so this was a real disappointment. Sure they’re comfortable but each part of the boot should function as intended. These were my first MukLuks and will also be my last.
I'm really disappointed. I loved these Slippers when they arrived. Super cute and comfortable but about 3 months in the started falling apart. They are poorly made. The whole sole came off. Very disappointed
