I wanted to love this machine, but honestly it fell well short of my expectations. It is not a smart robot at all, unable to learn at all from previous mistakes. The machine keeps getting stuck on the 1cm high timber trim running along both sliding doors. Rather than reverse, it keeps trying to mount these tiny obstacles until it gives up, exhausted and ceases to operate.
The robot also seems to vacuum sections randomly rather than according to the back-and-forth pattern illustrated. If it reaches one of the sliding doors at the end of its sweep the overall job is good. But if it heads early to a sliding door then hardly anything is cleaned before it stops. We also find that it sometimes misses entire rooms and our house is not large by any means.
