I want so badly for these leggings to be awesome, because I love the material, the way they fit and the feel of them on. I'm 5'3" and 135lbs and easily fit the mediums, but they do bunch a little at the bottom because I'm shorter. The black material is nice and thick and is squat proof. I also have the space dye black which fit well and I love, but the material does feel a bit thinner and is a different fabric content ratio than of the black material. I think the space dye is still squat proof but honestly I haven't checked that. The pockets are awesome.
The HUGE downfall to these leggings is the quality control of the stitching at the seams. My first 2 black pairs purchased, the stitching came undone after only a couple wears and washed on gentle, turned inside out, with similar fabrics. Amazon was great and replaced them both, but sadly the stitching in one of the replacements also started coming unraveling, again after only a week or so and a couple gentle washes. I currently have 1 operational black pair (and the 1 space dye pair which oddly has not had any stitching issues like the black pairs, but I have noticed the material is more easily picked) and I'm trying to decide if I will risk trying another pair. I feel like the fit, fabric and pockets are a steal at $24, HOWEVER the stitching can be a big headache if you get a cruddy pair. 90 DEGREES BY REFLEX - up the QC on the stitching and you would have a killer pair of leggings on your hands that I would take any day over those expensive brands!
Sooo.. these are decent leggings. As I shop at Costco, and can find higher quality for less, my outlook may be skewed...? Cons: These leggings are kinda thin. Not see-thru, but I got black. I'd not trust a lighter color. The material is somewhat shiny (I'd prefer a matte). These are truly full-length, and no compression at all. For reference, I am 5'2", 115 lbs, athletic build, but shortish inseam, and ordered XS. I wish I could trim an inch off the bottom. The waistband, though it is high and stays up, is itchy at the seam. Plus: they are not see-thru, they do have decent pockets (MUST for me-- at least one real pocket), I do not find myself yanking them up constantly. I will keep them, but keep looking for HG leggings.
I have 4 pairs from this brand in capris and I LOVE them! I love how the waist stays put during workouts and the pockets on each side are always handy. Since I love the capris so much I figured I'd love the leggins so I purchased a pair in the same size. The seam down the side of the leggins is different than the one on the capris. The seam in the front of the leggins I received is crooked. I originally thought that they were just "twisted" and adjusted them but the minute I moved they went right back to being crooked. I was hoping I could wear these leggins with dresses in the colder months but they look like cheap exercise pants. I will wear them to the gym, they stay up fine, but the seam is tacky. I'm very disappointed in the quality of the leggins. I've given 3 stars because the material is the same as the leggins, and the high waist stayed up when I worked out in them...and they have pockets. That seam is so tacky that I can't give 4 stars.
I feel like I shouldn't complain about these given the very reasonable price. But they ultimately did not fulfill my expectations. Yes, they material is pretty soft in a nylon feeling type way. However they definitely do not provide compression, and I do not like them for working out. I am 155-160 and usually an 8/10. I bought the medium as recommended. I suppose they fit like they should, but I would like more compression and I think that should come from a better quality fabric, not a smaller size. If I were to size down the waist band would pinch and they would risk being see through. I still wear them around the house and for errands, but that'sit. As ever with leggings, you get what you pay for. But who the hell wants to pay $90+ for a pair of leggings??
Not my favorite 90 degree leggings. The seem way less compressive than the previous leggings I have ordered. ( I have three pairs of 90 degree leggings all different styles). They are squat proof. The color is super cute. The strength is good though I would not call these "capri" length. The got all the way to my ankle and are a little loose at that. I'm 5'5" 125 lbs and I lift heavy 4x a week. The pants were loose in the rise and waist. I would prefer them to be tighter. They dont conform to my booty (of which I have plenty of for my size) when shift around during my work out. They are not horrible so I am keeping them. They remind me of bathing suit bottoms.
These leggings are really flattering and look great on my postpartum body. They really flatten my belly and I feel like I can do anything in them. They are nice and thick, feel very durable. Love the pockets. For the most part they are really comfortable, only problem is that they don’t breath at all, so they’re very hot. When I wear them my legs are constantly slightly sweaty even when I’m just hanging out in my air conditioned house. They’ll probably be fine in winter but for now they are way too hot.
Awesome leggings, but They color bleed a lot. Wash with darks only, i washed with a mixed load and it stained everything light colored. They also turn yoyr underwear black while you wear them and my nails turned blue just from touching my pants. I have washed a few times and this is still a problem. I love 90 degree its the only leggings i wear, but the new legging materials are not as good as the old ones
These were great until they ripped. I’m no stick figure but Inpurchased the size the size chart said to. I hung them up to dry. I work out lifting weights & indoor cycling. I’ve lost weight since I got these. Last night I found a small hole in the seam on my leg. Super disappointed as these are only 2 months old & a wardrobe staple. I’ve recommended them to several people. Very upsetting.
It was ok while it lasted. Material is silky and a bit on the thick side. I got the black version and it didn't stain anything as some others had mentioned. But because it's so think, it stuck to my skin a lot when I sweat, and probably contributed to seams tearing after only 5 weeks despite a perfect fit.
Not cheap but also disappointing. I emailed the company and they said have issued me a refund.
