How to use the fangs!

A lot of the bad reviews on the product are about the fangs and how they dont work. The little balls that it comes with need to be put in boiling water (about 15-20 balls per pair of fangs) and then it will turn into a stretchy moldable substance. then you can put some of the adhesive in the fangs and put your teeth in them.

I didn’t have too high of expectations for this, but I have to say it’s definitely been perfect. I needed some vampire fangs, but they’ve definitely taken a backseat to the elf ears. The ears are super easy to fit on and they hang tight pretty well (unless you’re into head banging, rather than traditional Elven tunes). I haven’t attempted to paint/put makeup on any of them yet, but I’ll update on how that goes if/when I do. They are standard Caucasian colored (pink undertones) but if this company sells other color tones, I definitely recommend grabbing a pair for your late night ttrp.
The only “complaint” I would have, is that there really wasn’t a difference between the large and medium sizes? But I could have easily just misinterpreted the info.
They’re both large, but I had no problem with it.
As for the fangs, they were a lower grade and I’ll be honest the instructions weren’t clear on how to make the goo that’s supposed to stick to my teeth. so I’ll be blunt: I just waited for Spirit to open back up and bought a couple of pairs of Scarecrow teeth instead...
But I love the ears! They’re holding up pretty well, so if mine ever go out, I’ll look up these for replacements first, before I go anywhere else!

I bought this set for my daughter’s Halloween costume. She was a vampire. We didn’t need the ears, only the teeth. The teeth would not stay on at all with those little glue balls it came with. The ears were just extra for us. They’re cute, but don’t stay on very well.

maybe im just freakishly pale but the skin tone was way too dark for me and didnt seem to match the picture. I got it closer to my tone with makeup but it was messy. Good for someone with a medium skin tone. Mostly stay on okay.

I had to order these last minute for a shoot tomorrow because i lost my scarecrow fangs

i dont like that it is a thermoplastic mold because thermoplastic is so tricky to work with

took me about 45 minutes just to get close to fitting them to my teeth

They work for my time crunch but they are tricky. also extremely white, so if you have ivory or discolored teeth these will be very bright on you

as for the ears theyre ok, ive had several pairs like them. If you are pale you might have to paint them lighter they are a little dark

Would absolutely recommend the ears. They’re made out of a flexible rubber that can be altered for what you need. I’ve added piercings, scars, nicks, and several different colors for different costumes and all have taken pretty well. If you need to repaint them (which you prob will since they’re quite a bit darker tan irl than pictured) use acrylic paint followed with a clear coat as they don’t hold makeup well and paint will crack if not sealed. The fangs were kind of disappointing, way to white to not stick out like a sore thumb against natural teeth, too thin and flimsy, too big at the base so I could never get them to fit right over my teeth... but honestly even if you never use the fangs the price is still a good deal for the ears alone.
