For the price I certainly wasn’t expecting top quality. I wouldn’t even call this medium quality and if I had to guess on a proper retail value I’d place it at around six dollars. From far away it looks OK. However as soon as I took it out of the box and started putting it together I realized it’s wrapped in a printed plastic slightly thinner than duct tape but with the same look. I wasn’t looking for a lot just a small decoration but I was looking for a little more than than a duct tape tree.

The start of a new tradition

Many of my teacher friends brought in a Christmas tree early to their classrooms and had their students write things they were grateful for this year. I wanted to do something similar just for our family. So I got this lovely little light up birch tree, then printed leaves onto construction paper and cut them out, and punched a whole in the top. I gave a pen and 4 leaves to each family member to fill out 4 things we were grateful for. We were going to tie them with string, but it worked out I could just put them on the branch tips and fold the branch tips in on it a little. It looked wonderful and my whole family loved it. It reinforces gratitude and lets us be reminded of it even after Thansgiving is done. We might make hearts for Valentine's day or flowers for Easter or other similar ideas. It really has a lot of versatility rather than just a pretty decoration...which it is that too. The lights are soft and the tree has 3 batteries that go in the bottom with a switch to turn on and off.

Would prefer these were useable for outlets but sadly they only take batteries. They are very light weight so easy to fall over if branches are not positioned perfectly but I do Like the look. The batteries wear out fast if you use these every night as I do.

These come on every night on the timer and give a glow to the room. They are bright enough that I do not have to turn on electric lights unless I have company or want to read. They bring out the birch trees in a picture above my sofa. The plastic bottom is not anything to shout about but I am going to paint them to make them look like copper. For the price, which is great, these are really nice lights. I am very happy with them!

This little guy is soooo pretty! It's standing there by itself now, but will eventually become part of a display with other components. This tree takes 3 AA batteries which are not included so make sure you have some on hand. The tree looks very cool and actually provides a decent amount of light. I love the fact that it has a timer mode so that I don't have to worry about turning it on or off and it does everything by itself. So far, no issues with this little guy and we are very happy with it.

I just received my order this afternoon.
I opened these up and was beyond happy! They are perfect for the shelf in our bathroom. Much nicer than I expected. They are evenly lit and you can bend the branches to make it work in your space. It’s such a nice ambience, it lights up the room brighter than our nightlight. Very satisfied with this product, enough to order two more for our spare bedroom.

My family went to the store and found trees like these and I loved them, so I jumped on Amazon and ordered a pack for myself. When they came everyone was jealous because mine were thicker and because I had to bend them out when I got them, the branches twisted in a more appealing fashion than the ones they picked up from the store. I've only had them for a few days, but love them.
