I'm between sizes. Normally I get a 38I. But I cup isn't available. I got seduced by the hope of comfortable support, and thought I'd try the 40H. The band width problem I've seen people complain of isn't an issue. It's a full length 40 band. But because I'm narrower in the frontal view and wider at the sides (barrel chested), the cups cut into my armpits. Also, because I'm short, the straps are too long. And I wouldn't have been able to tighten the properly even if they weren't, on account of the armpit digging. It's a great bra, but not for short, round me!
Sports bras are supposed to be snug. With that in mind, the bra band was too small and the cups puckered. Also, if your physiology requires a little cup separation, this might not be the bra for you.
The fabric is fine and I would consider reordering a larger band size, smaller cup size, but these don't compare to the Lane Bryant sports bras I am trying to replace. So when this COVID thing is over, I'll just head to LB and buy one. I was trying to save money, unfortunately this just isn't a good fit for my body.
Fitting is everything for any kind of bras, which is hard to get for us big chested women. Just not a good fit for me, but it could be for you. I would still recommend for anyone to at least try because it is made very well and has a good look to it.
My only negative thing is that there isn’t anything to cover your nipples. I’m not someone who wants people to see them so I would like some padding just over that area because it’s always so cold in my gym🤷🏼♀️😂
