I was really pleased with the quality of this garment compared to some other sports wear i have bought on amazon. It was a good fit, the only improvement i would like is more side support from bulging.
First I would like to start by saying I really, really like this product and would recommend but... having said that it is also important to state they may not be true to size and I also would recommend reading reviews before selecting a size.
I am glad I read the reviews before purchasing. My first instinct was to get a medium but after reading the reviews I changed my order to a small and I’m glad I did. The fit of these may not be what one would expect unless you’ve read the reviews. It is important to understand this. It appears to me these sports bras may be best suited for larger breast sizes. For example, I am 34D and the small is a great fit for me. If I had less than a D cup I am pretty sure I would not be satisfied with the support I need while running. (Maybe a C cup might be okay in a small but I definitely don’t think an A or B would get supported properly.)
Im a fan of these sports bras because I am able to get the support I need without having my breasts pressed too tight which significantly alters the shape. This sports bra retains a nice breast shape while being sufficiently supportive for me to run in. I am also very happy with the overall quality - great design, thick fabric, stitched well. I was so pleased with this product that I bought two more. Should I desire additional colors, I will come back for more.
There were a handful of reviews commenting about the padding moving around and they had to readjust it during a workout. I personally have not had this happen, when running they seem to stay in place for me.
The truth is this bra is not for working out. The band at the bottom does not wrap tight. It rolls up. Its a weak band around the bottom. If you are going to sit still or row, do yoga, do Pilates, walk around the house or sleep in, then this bra is for you. Do not use this bra to run in, do jumping jacks, or jump rope. I bought a large red/burgundy and a medium black. I am 120lbs and busty. Both sizes don't secure my 36 DD/DDD breast. But both bra's fit. The medium fits better. If I jump up and down they bounce significantly. I did read another review where the person said its not for working out. Well she should of wrote more. Its not for working out. I didn't believe her because of the good reviews. She is right. Its a cute bra that you can't run in and don't do jump rope or jumping jacks. Im a jump roper. I like sports bras that I can use for everything because if not you then need to buy one for one activity and another sports bra for a different activity. The price is great, and i will wear this as a sleep bra because it is extremely comfortable. I can probably wear it under my cloths. It gives shape with the little bit of padding in the bra. I don't like to sleep in bras but this is definitely a good bra to sleep in.
I did my best guess for fit and it sorta worked out. I'm a 38GG and bought the XL. Its Super comfortable! My only issue is the cups aren't big enough. This is a normal issue for me. If it fits around my ribcage, the breast are either too tight or the material is too small. If I buy for the cup size, the ribcage is too big. It was refreshing to try this on and feel like I wouldn't be exposed, but wish I had a teeny bit more material for the girls. I did workout in the bra and was very pleased. I didn't even notice that I had it on. Of course I had a tank on over it. It didn't shift or pull on my neck. I'll most likely buy another
Let me start off by saying that I do love this sports bra. The day I got it I told my husband, it is so nice to be flat chested for the first time since I was a kid. It was quite comical. It definitely holds everything down. It's still a mystery where every goes honestly.
That being said, I have 2 issues. 1 is I feel like the bra is a little bit snug. I ordered a large based off of the sizing chart. I could have ordered an XL. It's not unbearable, just creates a little bit of armpit spillage. That is even with removing the cups.
My second negative is the uniboob. I feel like this bra just presses everything down and creates one bump in the middle of my chest giving me the appearance of a uniboob. It doesn't matter much as I only wear it at the gym, but it does take away from some of the flattery. Now that could possibly be avoided by leaving the cups in, but due to the sizing I had to remove the cups.
All in all I would order it again, just probably a size bigger.
I have spent $100s of dollars on the best designer wear sports bra in the last 15 years. What a waste. This bra from Running Girl is my favorite bra hands down.
1) Comfort AT LAST! Once I put this bra on, I forget about it. It is snug, without any pain in the shoulders (no strap digging!), and so fresh because its NOT synthetic strange silky material. Its breathing comfort. 2) I wear a size Medium and have bought this bra in 3 colors. I am a small person but have a wide body so instead of buying Small I buy Medium and it sits just right. 3) Allows me to jump around, lounge around and sweat it out without feeling sticky. I hate wet sticky bras and after a workout you sometimes dont get a chance to take it off or hit the shower immediately. Feeling miserable after a work out is a thing of the past. 4) It NEVER slips off and NEVER needs readjusting.
Supportive and comfortable once you find the right size. I'm a 34c and bought a medium, which was a little big but I kept it and it works well for low impact workouts. I bought another in small which is the perfect size. I love that it provides support but doesn't squish my girls like crazy. The straps are also nice and thick and don't dig into my shoulders. Removable pads are nice, I like keeping them in for extra coverage but they can easily be taken out if you want. I will end up buying more colors.
I was in search of a good quality sports bra that wouldn't break the bank; as I am starting back into the world if fitness after having my second child 6 months ago. Not only is this bra beautiful, but it delivers. It held up to my HIIT and yoga workouts like a champ! The fit is perfect, on my post breastfed boobie (girls you know what I'm talking about). Holds them in with enough support without squishing them. The material is buttery soft, and breathable. Washes very well on gentle cycle, cold, in a undergarment bag, then hang to dry. Love the color selection, and different strap styles that are offered. I've recently bought 3 more! I feel its important to feel good when you workout, and these bra do that for me; they are my confidence booster!
I'm completely underwhelmed after reading all the great reviews on this sports bra. I wear a 40c or typically an XL sports bra and purchased the XL red. I'm a curvy pear shape, 5'5" and 200#. It fits, but it's definitely not high compression as advertised. There's no compression or support, it would be fine work weightlifting, but not HIIT, high intensity cardio, or bootcamp. If I went to an L, the band would be too tight. It's no different than any of the low-medium impact sports bras I've purchased. So far the only high impact bra I've found for the right price on Amazon is from BHRIWRPY store, and I also purchase in an XL there.
I was pleasantly surprised at how well this fits. I’m a 34 DD (got a large) so I wasn’t sure a random Amazon bra would support me, but it does! I love the thickness of the fabric. I feel contained and comfortable. It’s cute, and the fabric is nice. For the price it would be hard to beat! The only thing that could be improved is if the cups were sewn in. They drift a little, but not enough to be uncomfortable or look bad. The fabric is thick enough you might not need the cups at all. I will leave them in because it really hasn’t been a huge issue. I’m going to buy another!
