I am sooo happy with these pants, I promptly bought another two pairs! They are extremely comfortable and they kept me dry in the rain today. They perform better than my more expensive hiking pants from a well known brand. I bought my usual size and they fit perfectly and they look like they did in picture. They are actually quite flattering. They are a bit long, but I am short, so not unexpected. The material is soft and it feels like a second skin. I bought them for hiking, but will use them for everyday wear too. I love them!
I am sun-sensitive, so I need clothing that gives me good coverage for sun protection without being hot. Previously I've purchased Columbia brand pants, but those are $$$ so I was looking for a cheaper alternative - these are it!
The brand name on the tag is OUTDOORSPORTS. Nothing on the pants says "Gopune," so I think that's the seller not the product. The SAME product is also listed on Amazon as "Rdruko", but that listing ships from Asia (at least when I ordered - looks different now) so may take longer. I've purchased both and they are the exact same brand/style pants, even though the listing photos are different (model in a different pose).
The nylon fabric is lightweight and cool feeling. I haven't tested them on a really hot day yet (it's only April) but they feel similar to my Columbia pants so I think they'll be good. The fabric on these is stretchier, so between that and the elastic waist they fit a wider size range. I'm currently 182lb and 5'4", and both the XL and the L fit me. The XL fits comfortably loose, and the L is a snug fit, but still comfortable enough to wear. (For comparison, the Columbia Women's Saturday Trail Pant size 18W fits about the same as the XL of these.) I also tried a 2X, which were wearable (didn't fall down) but a bit baggy. I ended up returning that pair.
The one thing these lack is any way to snap the cuffs up when you don't want the full length. I sew and have tons of snaps, so I just added some for myself, but obviously not everyone is equipped to do that.
As mentioned in some of the other reviews, there are some logos on the sides that say "Outdoor", "Outdoor Fashion", and "Professional." I don't find these bothersome at all, but some may.
My normal pants size is a 10 and I ordered these in a Large and they fit well. Love that all the pockets are zippered. Am a little concerned that the pockets are made out of a tight mesh material, not sure if they'll hold up well or not but time will tell. They are deep pockets and that is another plus - no problem putting in a larger cell phone etc. They are more of a slim cut and I like that look, and they are stretchy so they don't feel tight at all. The only thing that could have made these better is if they came in convertible with zip off legs for shorts!
Great material! I bought a larger and the were a little loose in the waist. I had to roll them at the top for them to fit securely, but it worked out great for my hiking trip. I’m 5” 8 and weight 175lbs. I wish I got a medium. I would totally recommend these pants. They are durable, flexible, and water resistant. I will definitely buy another pair in the future!
These pants are lightweight, making them comfortable for hiking and relaxing. I worry about them not being durable for the same reason but only time will tell. The fit is true to size, color is what I expected and the pockets are great. I'm very pleased and look forward to traveling in them.
