liner is not functional

The liner that Columbia has chosen is of a fleece-like fabric. This does not allow one to slip the coat on. It 'sticks' to any fabric on your long sleeve shirt and so the inside sleeve pushes out with your arm. I used my old liner from a previous Columbia coat and it works great. I guess I will just use the new liner as a sweater or some sorts.

Jacket is nice. Interchange feature is pretty great but the fleece layer sleeves are too long and can hang out of the shell. Fleece interior has no elastic on the wrist area. For me it uncomfortable and look sloppy when worn alone.

Poor performing jacket in mildly cold air

Jacket does not keep you warm. There is no drawstring at bottom of jacket to keep cold air from coming in. The liner is very thin and offers no warmth. The liner at the arms extends out past the outside jacket arms when wearing. I have numerous Columbia jackets and this is the worst I have ever had. In 39 degree air no rain or snow it is like you are only wearing a light jacket with no liner. Poor performance for a jacket.

Warm jacket. Zip out liner is convenient. However the zippers on the jacket I received are completely useless. As other reviewers items they come apart at bottom, and very difficult to reset. Had to return.

Normally this jacket would get a 5 star rating due to the fact my hubby has owned 2 of these and they were awesome. However this order was for my son who picked the 2 tone tan and blue and was sent instead black and purple. Not sure yet on if we will go through the hassle of returning but was it really that hard to get the order correct the first time.
