High quality decorative piece

I looked at a few barn star options and I chose this one because it is made in the US, unlike similar but lower priced options which are made in China. I can definitely tell this quality is high end! Feels super sturdy and well made. Looks great hanging up on my guest room wall! The star also came well protected in plenty of wrapping protection

Does not sit flat against a surface.

These are good quality, but because they have added a large (too large) hanger loop on the back, the stars will not sit flat against the surface it is being mounted on. I tried removing the extra large mounting ring and it destroyed the star because it is welded to it in such a way that it cannot be removed without damage.

I have ordered decorative stars in the past on amazon, and each time I was disappointed with the quality. The prices were reasonable, but they were all made of cheap/thin metal. These stars are made of iron and feel very sturdy! I could tell the difference right away. Also loved the fact that the company is based in TX! Will be recommending these to friends!

These are really nice and sturdy stars! When I purchased them I thought I would paint them before using; but they are so great the way they are I didn’t paint them.
I purchased them to cover the knot holes that have become open in my wooden outside fence, but they look so great I ordered 2 more sets just to put in random places on my fence. I’ve ordered 4 sets total and we are really enjoying them.
I do wish they were a little less expensive.

I bought these to replace some previous metal stars that'd badly faded over time. The color isn't what I thought it was from it's picture; they're more a brown than a red. They're very thin and lightweight, but have a thick, metal ring on the back to hang over your nails and they look good on my house. We'll see how well they weather the elements.

Okay..my bad, I guess. It was described as being five inches (pretty small), and, it was intended just for a place on my bedroom wall. (I love barn stars!). BUT...the round hook intended for hanging it doesn't move; it's kind of painted into one spot, which makes it impossible to hang on a nail. NOT happy; I'm going to look for a larger one of better quality. 🙁
